Question about Backlinks for Search Result Rankings

Lets say, for example, I have a site called http;//MyTop10s.com and it's made its way on to the front page of Google for tons of popular searches due to a lot of high quality, good backlinks.

Now lets say I create a page on my website for "Top 10 Comedy Movies" which would be under the URL http;//MyTop10s.com/article/Top-10-Comedy-Movies ...Would the already existing backlinks for my homepage web address help my "Top 10 Comedy Movies" page automatically rank a little higher in Google? or would that URL alone have to generate brand new backlinks to earn Googles trust?


Again, that is NOT my website, I'm just using that as an example.

    Hi, If the internal url is having a link from home page it will help that internal page also to rank. Few additional links directly to the internal page will boost the rankings even further. Unless the links are nofollowed manually the links juice will flow through the entire site and it will even help to rank if they are properly inter linked via proper anchor texts.

    Yes, the homepage backlinks will help the internal page rank higher for it's target keyword. Once the homepage gains trust in Google, all the Internal pages of the site will benefit from that trust.

    In the long run you would rank better if you made all your backlinks spread across all the sub pages, this in turn would rank your home page very highly and strongly. Its better to make backlinks as you go through social channels for new posts/pages.

    Yeah. If your inner pages are connect with home page then it will beneficial for your inner pages also. Also try to generate back link from off page optimization on relevant sites or blogs.

    If your website is having the internal links then and you r having the great backlinks that can be useful to the internal links also once if you gain the Google's trust all the internal pages linked to the Home page ranking of all pages will also be high.
