Can You Rank Clickbank (affiliate) pages?

Hey Warrior Buddies,

I need this problem solved once and for all.....

If a create a page with UNIQUE content but with an affiliate link will it rank easy in google? Or does google hate any page that links back to clickbank?

Suggestions please.....

    I don't think you'll solve the problem "once and for all" by asking it here, though. Nobody else ever has. Some people notice absolutely no difference at all in their rankings according to the presence or absence of a ClickBank affiliate link or two. Others claim to. I've even seen one person claiming that he can monitor his pages immediately moving up and down in the SERP's according to whether he adds or removes his ClickBank affiliate link! I've never quite known whether or not to believe it, myself - but I've also seen plenty of people disagreeing with it (and it's certainly never been my own experience at all, for any site, in any niche). At the end of the day it doesn't really matter very much, because you probably won't make enough sales of ClickBank products to search engine visitors to be worth talking about, anyway: that just isn't how it works. These two threads may both actually help you a little more than what you're asking here ...

    You can rank pages with affiliate links. I think there's a certain amount of paranoia that goes around when it comes to what Google will or won't rank.

    If you're overly concerned about having links to clickbank on the page, you could easily use a URL shortener or a redirect to remove the clickbank link from the page directly. I don't think Google would penalize a page for linking to a clickbank product, but that's just my opinion. I have many sites that rank well with link directly to clickbank products in tact. They care more about content quality (quality > quantity, but both matter) ... Also how relative your incoming links area, the PR (page rank) and DA (domain authority) of those linking pages and also other factors such as how many links those pages have on them. There are 150+ factors that contribute to SERP these days, but what it always boils down to is content and link QUALITY... Hope this helps!

    The answer is NO, it won't rank.

    The reason it won't rank is because your asking If it will rank. I bet your #1 competition isn't asking If a page will rank.

    Having the keyword SEO in your user profile name isn't helping.

    Content with affiliate link rank high in google everywhere. Just type product name and you will find a bunch of affiliate rank in 1st page.

    My suggestion is change your question with "How to rank this shit like other people did?"
