Actually, this is one of the lessons to be learned on Sharktank, which is, do NOT use a long-hyped up sales pitch with CEO types. They want the "executive brief". They want the bottom line facts,...

According to the guy, 10% of all gift cards never get used. Plus those that get a gift card to a store they don't shop at, or those that need cash to pay for their rent, mortgage, car, utitlities,...

I stumbled on it about a week ago and it may be the most interesting look into business and marketing I've seen.
