The Google bot is not at all 'powerful'. It's just automated. It can't see anything on the web that you or I can't see.

Google knows exactly what can be obtained by you or me with our web browser.

No more, and no less.

So if you can determine the poster's IP from the blog, then so can Google. If you can't,...
