The other day, I was speaking with my neighbor who smokes A LOT, and has the cough to prove it. He said he was giving up cigarettes hadn't smoked for 3 days, and we got into a bit of a discussion....

Sounds like an excuse not to quit. There are lots of ways to ease stress. Smoking is not one of them. How much stress do you think you'll have when you discover that you have some horrid disease from...

Here's what worked for me, back in '75 after 23 years of smoking.

1. Be absolutely sure you want to quit. No doubts. Decide you want to be healthy. Until you make this mind shift, you won't quit....
