I think you wanna put static image in each page as header at the same place. If so, you would remove those slider codes and add at the end of header.php this code: Header Codes Here!...

Ah! I see. There's something wrong in my above code because forum omitted some tag.

Yeah! It's too much in size & dimension. You can resize your image to suit the site slide is enough.

I don't really understand your needs. But, assuming that you want to have a button/link to your "Latest Posts Page", you can put it in the upper menu area with custom link.
