I use Bookmarking Demon, socialbot. To really leverage Bookmarking demon, you need to find more bookmarking sites, and add them into BMD, that would greatly increases your backlink power from BMD.

Give it a week or so to properly index your page, as much as Google want the result to be updated fast, they take time to process such huge amount of data.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to...

I have to ask, how do you know your profile not yet index?

Usually, I just ping all my profile links, and track my keywords and articles with a software, check back every week to see the movement....

Social bookmarking is good for fast indexing, or some call it crawling (because Google haven't process it yet).

If I social bookmark my site, I will send it to ping as well. I don't ping RSS...

Nope, why would side-way links get you banned? No links can get a website banned, only on page stuff can.

If you happen to know such method, please let me know, I will test it on my site and then...

Yes, social bookmarking a page for fast indexing will always work, almost 100% sure index...!
