Is Social Media still good for free Traffic?

Hey Joshua! What type of traffic are you after? Evergreen or Hot Leads? Yes social media is king right now for traffic but some of them are not "ready to buy" immediately. Anything will work really just depends on what you are willing to do to make it work. I am just now branching outside of facebook and loving it!

Yes they are. Especially facebook which has a lot of users worldwide. You can find a lot of potential clients there. You just need a good marketing strategy. Be creative with your every posts. Join facebook groups, that could really help.

Yes! It is quite useful as I only social media and seo to get traffic and I get some good traffic but you have to work regularly on it to get same amount of traffic

You can build your list using the social media but that greatly depends on your market and your marketing strategy.

Promoting a fan page won't work like directly promoting your landing page.
Targeting the right audience may be another problem you will encounter
as most of them have little of this features.

Social Media is still now Golden Targeted traffic source. I love twitter because it's sent me hundred of thousand free traffic and all traffic are highly targeted.

Social Media is always effective when you can automate the submission process. In that regard Twitter never worked for me because I have no tools for it.

Same goes for instagram. Tumblr however I got good traffic from by reposting other people's stuff around the clock on autosoft.

Best is Facebook if you have either an poster for groups, or send emails to 20 groups at a time. This is really fast, 1 email to 20 groups, then wait a few minutes and do it again to another 20 groups etc. That's painless and effective [unless you overdo it, or do it too fast, then they block you] :-)

Is social media still good? Yeah.

If you do not know what you are doing it is a hit and miss. To be honest you should be looking at social media like the wild tiger you have to learn to tame. Once you learn to tame the wild tiger it will f*** amaze you.

Yes, however there is automation for that as well. HAve to look it up,
forgot the name for a moment.

There is this software you dont have to buy, just input your group lists,
then that software goes from group to group and signs you up automatically.

Facebook paid Ads proved useful and effective for me. I got good amount of targeted traffic from Facebook Ads. Never tried twitter. So no experience on Twitter.

Facebook can be an excellent way to get traffic to your site, but it will depend on your niche and what you're selling. Some niches don't do well on Facebook as well as other social media platforms, i.e. Twitter, Etc. The ultimate first step before even creating a fanpage is to find where your niche market frequents on Facebook? What kinds of groups do they belong to?

If you have an active page which you made before of more than 10-12k likes then yes, it can get you 100-150 clicks a day. (probably it's insignificant but yeah you can get this much clicks)

Also, you need to put in money at first after you have crossed 30k+ likes mark you can grow organically by posting great content. Everything will depend on content then. I am admin on a page of about 30k+ likes and after each post we get about 20-30 likes organically also we drive about 4-5k+ traffic to websites in a week.

Facebook is a website where people spend a lot of time. Is it good source of traffic? Of course!
As for my personal experience, Twitter is not the best social media to get traffic from.
But everything depends on what you're offering.
If you hide $10.000 in cash somewhere in New York City, and post a message on Facebook with the link to your website, where visitors can find the exact location, each and every social media will work fine.
But if you're offering yet another get rich quick scheme, chances are, the conversion rate will be pretty low.

Yes it is great for getting free traffic! Like anything it will take work.

If you want free traffic from social media you must
1. Engage with others
2. Post awesome content
3. Promote yourself a little (about 10% - 20% of your posts)
4. Make useful content that will get people to want to go to your website
5. Create a "Call To Action" that will tell people why they should visit your site
6. Follow people in your niche
7. Be fun and unique

If you stick with it then you can get some very good free traffic. Don't give up too early it could take months to achieve a good following.
