How much product to send to Instagram influencers?

I've sent a few things here and there with mixed results, I don't get direct sales from influencers posting pictures with my product but I get the pictures which I reuse on my other social media and I get a few followers...

But I see that some companies seem to send out a ton of product...would you do that?

It seems like a great idea, but how much would you send? And to how many influencers?

    To answer that question, you have to ask yourself first how much of a sales spike you want to see for that marketing campaign. You also have to look at the number of followers those influencers have and how well they convert everytime they post something.

    How do big companies get maximum returns when they give influencers product?

    First, they require their influencers not just to post about their product, but to do multiple posts with tested copy. You can even set it in a contract that you need an influencer to post your product on these dates, at these times, using the sample social media posts you send them.

    They also measure how effective these influencers are by giving them unique sales/affiliate links. The influencers are given just enough product to post about it. But they are motivated to promote if you give them incentives for every sale they make through their posts.
