Anybody Else Noticing Changes with Facebook Ads? (Longer approval, higher bidding)

I've been advertising on Facebook for months now. I won't giveaway my interests or keywords, but my starting bids have always been around $0.50 for CPC on the same ad settings targeting 15 million people. In the past 7-10 days I've noticed those bids now start at $1.15. I've also noticed Facebook ads are taking longer to be approved or even start running. Anybody else notice these types of things?

I have noticed that our prices appear to have doubled in the past month. In addition to this I had an advert rejected yesterday due to it having more than 20% text content in an attached image.

  I have been advertising on facebook for about a couple of years now with my online and offline businesses. I had problems at the beginning with ads being approved quickly and the CPC.
  
  With very tight targeting techniques I have been able to get the CPC right.. most clicks are costing me under 0.50c. I did see a spike in the CPC, but this was because I was testing new keywords and age groups.
  
  Have seen the following from my experience... The more targetted (sex, age range) and the more tight the niche (keyword) the faster approval and the lower CPC achieved.
  
  Facebook has been on the same path as google. Using the best keyword to best ad = less cost to you.

I noticed the suggested CPC and CPM have gone up however in the end Im still paying around what I always did.

I have had an ad pending for approval since Sunday so I just deleted it today and will create a new one later in the week. Was getting 17 cents per click though.

yes , totally agree, higher bids for autmated bidding
if you choose your bid there will be no activity
add took a whole day to approve, previously 15 minutes !
