Yes, you can embed most youtube videos onto your blog. Just use the embed code associated with the video you want to use.

If the videos are on YouTube and available to share and embed then it means the person who uploaded them doesn't mind.

    Hi,

As Kay and David have said, which I endorse, you can add youtube videos to your blog, I have done the same on a blog I had. Its quite simple to do, you won't get into trouble for doing it, unless of course the content, is of a 'sensitive' or 'provocative' nature, in which case, you could lose your channel, however, if it is generic content, then there is no problem.

In fact its a good way of driving traffic to your site.

Agreeing to everyone who have posted a reply here. If you are not really confident, you can always use credit notes under the video. But normally, you do not have to do this.

Remember, you're not putting the video on your site - Youtube is still serving it.

Youtube wants you to share their videos, that's why they give you the embed code.

Sure, in fact google will love you for it. Either just use the video link or copy and past the html google gives you for placing videos on your site or wherever you want.

As long as you don't DOWNLOAD the video and then re-upload it to your website you will be fine.

If the original uploader on you tube has given permission for his / her videos, then obviosuly you can share them.
