Video Motion Pro is a new video creation and editing software. It gives you the ability to create any type of video (training courses, sales videos, info products, etc.) and enables you to brand your videos as well. Also, in addition to my Video Motion Pro Reloaded review, I'm also including some news articles talking about social media and video marketing:

Twitter Enables the Embedding of Video on Other Websites

If you have been following Twitter for a while then you have probably noticed how easy it can be to get Tweets with videos in your main feed. Until relatively recently, the only way to share a video was to share the tweet that the video was associated with. The good news is that Twitter has changed that, and it is now following the example of YouTube, and allowing users to share videos using an embedding feature, without having to actually share the post that they were in. This can be a very useful feature for getting content to spread as far as possible and reach a much wider audience of social media fans and users. Here's why this feature is so great.

Following YouTube's Example

Twitter is good at following the example of other successful companies. This means that they are always going to be implementing the most exciting, valuable and useful features offered by the other services. In this case, that means following in the footsteps of YouTube and making it easier to share video content by embedding it on any website. This puts them far ahead of, say, Facebook, who requires that users share the entire Facebook post, instead of allowing them to share the video without the post that it is attached to.

An Important Step

While this is a major step forward, it would be an exaggeration to call it a game-changer. It will, however, encourage people to share videos that they may not otherwise have been willing to share. This is a big step for Twitter. Note that Facebook is already generating about three billion video views each day. Twittter is only just launching a proper video feature and it has a very long way to go to catch up. Making it easy for people to share videos without having to include the original Tweet will help to maximise the number of impressions that they generate. It is good business sense to copy Google and YouTube - because what they are doing, quites simply, works.

Simple and Easy JavaScript

Twitter has kept the Javascript for sharing and embedding videos the same as the Javascript for sharing tweets. This means that it is easy for people to put Twitter videos into a Facebook post, embed them on another website, and share them on Forums, etc.

While there are some who don't like the ease of sharing content in this respect (because it means that the original Tweet is not credited) it is a good thing for getting more views to a video - and this means that it's great for people who watermark their content or reference their websites in their videos. If it is the difference between content not getting shared at all, or being shared in this way, then most content creators would be happy to know that their video content is getting more views. Twitter's decision to copy YouTube is a good one, and one that will help Twitter to close the gap in video sharing with Facebook, although probably not make it a viable competitor against the Google/YouTube giant in its own right, at least not yet.

A Quarter of Last Year's Superbowl Ad Views Came From Facebook - is This a Threat to YouTube?

YouTube's commercial shares dropped 20%, down to 74%, compared to last year's statistics, while YouTube claims that their views have increased a lot. It's possible that both these statistics are true - that there are more views to go around, but that other sevices have been getting a lot of them.

Facebook and YouTube are old rivals, and with good reason. There are only so many advertising dollars to go around, and YouTube was once the Number One, but it is now losing ground to social sites that are just faster, easier and more focused - people prefer to spend more time on that site, and if you're already on Facebook, why not watch your videos on there? Why go to YouTube if your friends are not making use of that site to share their content?

Facebook has lost a lot of viewers over the course of this year - especially for stuff like major advertisements. Because it's so easy to embed content inside your Facebook feed, people know that they can just go to Facebook and watch the most interesting content there. Facebook is an aggregator - just like Reddit. Why go to the effort of discovering your own content when you have a stream of friends who are happy to do that for you?

Google isn't going to be too bothered about a small dip in market share as long as they have lots of users and lots of ad dollars coming in. The search giant is happy to have multiple properties that are focused on different areas and it is easy enough to rationalise what is happening at YouTube as a difference in purpose and user habits. But Mark Zuckerberg is eager to spread Facebook's influence, and if he can get Facebook to become a go-to property, getting billions of video views per day, then he will do that. So far, thanks to autoplay for videos, Zuckerberg has managed to achieve that, but users are going to get annoyed with that intrusive feature.

Each time (up to a limit) a video plays when someone scrolls past it, it will be counted as a view. Google knows that Facebook is inflating its statistics with this, and YouTube is now focusing on quality views, rather than quantity - ranking videos based on how much attention people pay to them, rather than how many times they are clicked on. This is a subtle difference, but it is one that advertisers will be paying attention to. At the end of the day, it is ad dollars that are the most important thing for both websites, and YouTube is definitely the most appealing place for advertisers to spend their money. If you want your website to b a success, and you want people to actually watch your video advertising campaigns, then Google is the place to go. Facebook's discoverability is worthless if no-one is really watching the videos.

Facebook could be on to something, but they could soon be surpassed by Twitter. It is certainly an interesting time to be involved in the world of video marketing, and the next year or so will be exciting as we watch to see how the battle between these three giants pans out.

Now that you've read my Video Motion Pro Review, take a moment to read this article talking about:

7 Ways To Create High Ranking & More Engaging Videos On YouTube - PART 1

Let's take a moment to look at the different ways that marketers can ensure that their engaging videos rank well in YouTube.

YouTube recently implemented a new method for calculating the rankings of videos. In the past, the number of clicks and impressions generated by a video was the most important thing. Now, YouTube is focusing more on which videos hold a user's attention for longer. The length of time that the user spends watching the video is more important than how many people arrive on the page.

Because videos that people actually watch are being ranked higher, this discourages people from simply trying to capture as many clicks as possible. High quality content is now more important than sheer numbers of views. Eric Myerson, the head of content partner marketing at YouTube, is hoping that this will preserve YouTube's position as the most important media website in the lives of the average viewer.

So, how can you ensure that your videos actually get the attention that they deserve? The average viewer is chronically strapped for time and does not have much of an attention span so getting them to sit and watch the whole of one of your videos would not be easy. Here are a few tips that can help to ensure you get the most out of this algorithm change.

Below is PART 2 of the article...

#1: Don't Try to Game the System

YouTube uses sophisticated ranking systems, and they change all the time. Don't waste your time trying to figure out how to just exploit the system, because if you do that then when the algorithms are changed your hard work may end up being a waste of time.

Focus, instead, on making great videos. Learn what keywords get the highest quality of traffic and try to figure out what your visitors want. If you can attract viewers that actually want to watch your videos then you will be better off because they will stick around for long enough to count under the new algorithm changes.

#2: Know Your Target Audience

This ties in to the first point. If you know who your target audience is you will understand what they want to know, and this means that you'll be able to provide them with the content that they were looking for.

Think about how old your visitors are, what they are interested in, how much time they have, and what they are trying to accomplish when they come to YouTube. This will help you to figure out what motivates them to watch.

#3: Sell your Video Content to The Viewer Early On

You do not have long to attract the attention of your viewers. Ideally you should sell the content to the viewer as early on as possible, so that they keep watching. Make the point of the video as clear as possible in the first five or ten seconds.

And finally below are tips 4 through 7:

#4: Plan Each Video Carefully

A good video should tell a story. Don't just throw a video together at the last second. Sit down and work out exactly what you want to say, and then focus on figuring out how to say it. Make sure that the point of the video is clear immediately, so that you can understand exactly what you need to achieve with the video.

#5: Be Real

Video content is so popular because it puts a human face to the brand that the user is watching. You should take advantage of this and try to be as "real" as possible in your videos. Show the user who you are, be enthusiastic and energetic, and let the passion that you have for your subject shine through in every motion, smile, gesture and word. It's OK to pantomime a little bit when you are on camera.

#6: Be Willing to Take A Chance

While it's not a great idea to be too outlandish, it is OK to take chances from time to time. Do something unusual and see if it pays off. Let your brand come to be known for being creative and innovative, rather than for being the boring brand that always plays it safe, no matter what you're doing.

#7: Write Good Descriptions and Headlines for Your Video Content

Take advantage of Google's free keyword planner to work out what keywords are the most important, and spend some time writing descriptions and headlines based on those keywords. Remember that the headline is the first thing that people will see, so it makes sense to make it as attention-grabbing as you can.

Before reading my Video Motion Pro Reloaded Review, take a look at this article called, '3 Strategies for Optimizing Video Sales Letters To Improve Your Earnings Per Click' (PART 1 is posted on my blog):

Increase Your EPC WIth Video

There are a couple of problems that every marketer will face when creating a video sales letter. First of all, it's not just about writing the copy for the sales letter which will be read. It also has to do with the voice of the person reading, their timing while they are reading the sales letter, and when you will actually display the order button. These sales letters are much more complex because it takes a lot of extra time if you make a mistake during the recording of the sales letter. It's not like regular copy where you can simply go back to where the mistake is, do a five second edit, and it's ready to go. Another problem that marketers run into is not being able to split test a video sales letter because that would require rereading the entire sales letter in most cases. However, due to the fact that video sales letters convert more, causing your EPC to be much higher, they seem to be better at converting targeted visitors even without the ability to split test.

Test Your Website Design

When you have a sales letter that is based upon a video, the design of the video is going to come under quite a bit of scrutiny. It needs to be done with a program that can display fancy graphics, provide memorable transitions from one section to the next, and should be high definition and quality. Additionally, the design of your website is also going to be critiqued more often because, while people are watching the video and listening to what is being said, their eyes may shift from the video sales letter to the appearance of the website, which means you need to use an absolutely professional design. In regard to split testing, if you know that the copy is solid, and the person reading is doing a fantastic job, you can increase your EPC by split testing the design of the website to see which one generates the most sales. It's also a good idea to experiment with testimonials that you are using. Some people and found that a credible video testimonial has actually hurt their sales. You simply need to test as many variables as possible, without worrying about the sales copy, and when you do you will be able to gradually increase your earnings per click and your overall ROI.

After my first 2 years of losing over 10K in internet marketing SCAMS, I am now a 6+ year IM veteran with lots of experience building Niche Sites, Ecomm Stores & running PPC campaigns. Below is the final part of the article on how to optimize your video sales letters:

Improve Your Video Load Time

The only thing that may be a significant drawback for people that are using video sales letters is how quickly the video will actually load. You do not want to break the continuity of what the person narrating your video is saying simply because her video is not loading fast enough to keep up with what he or she is saying. There are products and companies, such as Wistia, that actually make videos load extremely fast. They provide this service to Internet marketers, and what most people have found is that by making the videos load almost instantly, even larger ones that are for sizable sales pages, the faster load times actually have increased conversions dramatically. You might want to play around with the file size as well. There are different formats that you can use for your videos. By trying the different types of video, and testing which file size loads the quickest, you can improve your EPC very simply by simply using a video file that will load fast enough to not interrupt with the video sales letter has to say.

By using these three simple strategies for optimizing your video sales letter, you should start to see an improvement in your earnings per click very quickly. By adjusting the appearance of your website template, split testing, and trying different video formats to improve the load time, you can increase your EPC. These are simple tips that you can use right away, ones that you can probably implement on your own. If not, contact a business that specializes in video web design and have them make all of the adjustments that we have discussed so that you can earn more money selling your products with your video sales letter website.

While using the new Video Motion Pro Reloaded, be sure to also keep this article in mind. It talks about, '5 Tips For Increasing Watch Time On Your Youtube Videos - PART 1':

Modern technology is amazing. There are things you can do with modern technology that as recently as five or ten years ago were simply impossible to imagine. Not only that, but the way people interact with technology has changed, as well. There was once a time in which families would gather around the television in order to enjoy quality programming, and read the daily newspaper in order to get their information about the world.

Now, however, it's easier to get your news whenever you want via the internet. There's thousands of blogs out there that will not only tell you the news, but also give you their spin on it. You can find just about any information you want, and it's all out there at the push of a few buttons. It's been studied and found that this has actually resulted in people remembering less rote information, since they can simply check their smartphones or their tablets and discover numbers and dates without any effort. Whether this is good or bad is arguable, but it's certainly a huge change.

Perhaps the most important change, or at least the most interesting change, is how people get their entertainment. If five or ten years ago, someone had suggested that people would literally never watch television, no one would have believed them. Yet the internet, and services such as Youtube, Hulu, Netflix, and others have allowed people to go completely without television all together. There are a number of people who simply go without a television at all, since they can also watch movies via DVDs using their computers. Modern technology has made the television all but useless, which is something that no body could have ever predicted and Video Motion Pro Reloaded users can benefit from creating amazing videos from scratch.

Naturally, this has made a huge number of people jump on the chance to reach an audience with ease. Getting videos up on places such as Netflix and Hulu still require the ability to create television, since they tend to show television and movie quality videos. However, Youtube is a video service that anyone can take advantage of. All it takes to get a video up on Youtube is a camera and a computer, and you can be making as many videos as your heart desires. There are even people who make a living from their Youtube videos, and all they're doing is what would have been considered cable access television years ago.

This has led Youtube to coming up with some fairly strict SEO algorithms in order to ensure that people can find the videos they want to watch. Naturally, where there's SEO, there are people trying to figure out how to massage the algorithm in order to get their stuff at the top of the list. There are a number of different ways that Youtube decides how desirable your videos are to any given keyword search, but one of the primary ones involves how long the video is watched. This came about because people were using misleading thumbnail pictures on their videos, such as attractive women or popular cartoon shows, only to have a video that had nothing to do with the thumbnail and since Video Motion Pro Reloaded creates highly engaging videos, members will be able to benefit from prolonged viewing time as well.

This begs the question; how do you ensure that people watch your videos all the way through? Naturally, you hope that they find your videos interesting enough to watch the whole thing, but that's not always the case. Not only that, even if they do find it interesting, they may have a difficult time watching the whole thing. Luckily, if you're paying attention, there are a few things you can do that will help you get the full length of the video watched.

After my first 2 years of losing over 10K in internet marketing SCAMS, I am now a 6+ year IM veteran with lots of experience building Niche Sites, Ecomm Stores & running PPC campaigns. I've made most of my money through Affiliate Marketing, Adsense & Infoproducts. I promise to provide lots of FREE VALUE from all my experience over the past decade!
