How To Use Social Media Targeting For Retargeting Your Audience Using An Internet-Wide Campaign

Do you currently use psychographics in your marketing campaigns? If you don't, you really should seriously consider incorporating them into your marketing campaigns, particularly if you happen to run PPC campaigns using social media platforms. The approach will enable you to target social media users via an internet-wide retargeting campaign which will result in increasing your conversions. Keep reading this article to learn everything you need to know about social targeting and psychographics and how the new CaptiFire tool can help marketers get results faster.

Understanding the concepts behind psychograhics is very important. The approach involves targeting a certain audience based on its interests, opinions and ideas rather than using demographic data or numbers for defining the target audience. A social targeting strategy targets social network users, which is ideal for an approach that is based upon psychographics due to the fact that it is more likely that social media users will share information about the interests and opinions that they have on social platforms.

With this approach you won't be looking at just demographics and numbers, but at preferences as well. Information like location, gender and age are still important. The approach enables you to get a user's attention in the top part of a sales funnel. You should ideally use several different campaigns on various social media platforms in order to target more users. You will get better results on your campaigns if more users are included. Your outbound traffic all needs to get tagged, including users who follow links you have shared on social media and those who click on your ads. In order to do this, you can use UTM tagging. This is a tracking module that Google created. You can customize these tags that are placed on the end of URLs. When these tags are added to links you are sharing on social media, Google Analytics can identify the link's source.

If you use LinkedIn, Twitter and other websites that have social walls, your UTM tags should be added to the URLs before you post them. When running Facebook ads, there is an option for adding UTM tags within the ads platform and CaptiFire users will be able to also push optins from Twitter by directed them to a nice squeeze page.

Google provides a URL Builder tool, so that means it isn't complicated to create UTM tags. There is an easy plug-and-play feature included in the tool which makes creating UTM tags a very easy process. Wen you create these tags, make sure to keep them consistent at all times. Don't use any capital letters or spaces. Use underscores for separating words if necessary.

Your UTM tags can be customized in order to suit your specific needs. The following are examples of some of the tags that can be used in your campaigns:

- Identify your traffic source. Create a tag called utm_source, then use values like 'linkedin,' 'twitter,' or 'facebook' for identifying where your traffic comes from. Here is what your tag might looks like when a user follows a Facebook ad of yours: utm_source=facebook.

- Determine whether a click was generated via a paid campaign or organically. An organic link could have the following UTM tag: utm_medium=organic.

- Identify specific method used for targeting a user. It can be particularly useful if you're still attempting to determine what the best method is for targeting social media users and CaptiFire members can create highly targeted landing pages to increase chances of results.

- Identify ad content that was followed. It can be very useful if you are testing different ad campaigns out or would like to gather analytics in order to figure out what type of content generates the most clicks. Tags can be used for identifying different campaigns or distinguishing between text, image and videos, for example.

- Identify which campaign generated a click. That can help you track which offer or product the user was interested in originally.

3. Use Lists From AdWords Retargeting For Internet-Wide Campaigns

After your UTM tags have been created, just login to your Google AdWords account. Click on your Admin tab and then search for a header called 'Remarketing." Click on the header and then choose 'Audiences' for accessing the page where your audiences can be managed. Click on the feature called 'New Audience.'

Now your Analytics needs to be linked with the right account. Choose the right account from where you will be running your ads for users you are targeting via social media. A listing of your accounts can be found in 'Destination account' from the drop-down list. Choose the right account, then go to the upper left corner and click 'Create New.' Name your audience. Then go into the Audience Builder tool and select your Traffic Sources. Finally, enter in the UTM tags that you created previously and CaptiFire members can increase their results from paid advertising with high converting squeeze pages.

4. Retargeting and boosting your conversions

Your retargeting list will continue growing as users continue clicking on your social media links and ads. Then you can determine what your next move will be before creating a campaign that is relevant for this specific audience.

On the left part of your screen, go into the 'Shared Library.' Click on 'Audiences.' A listing of Internet users will be displayed. In this section you can manage your lists as well.

A new Remarketing list can be created for a current campaign you are running. Just click on 'All Campaigns,' select the right campaign and then click on the 'Audience' tab and locate the '+ Remarketing' button. When you click on the button it will prompt you to add a group. Then click 'Ad Targeting' where you will see a drop-down menu. Choose 'Interests & Retargeting.' Then choose the right Retargeting list for your campaign you are currently running.

Using this approach is an excellent way of boosting your conversions since using social media for targeting your users enables you to define their habits and interests in order to better predict what specific products they are most likely to be interested in or the kinds of ads that they will best respond to. If your audience is small, it may not be the best strategy. However, this approach has achieved incredible results for large companies.

Improving Your Ranking On the Search Engine

If you intent to use your website for marketing, it is important that you improving your ranking Google. You must therefore work and improve the quality of your content.

Blog.Crazyegg.Com being a linguistic tool, it creates a solution for Google ranking. However, you must be able to perform the following if you intent to achieve the best results;

• Creation of relevant content
• Use a targeted word or a phrase at the starting point.
• Use ideas that are great
• Make proper use of the vocabulary gathered

Auditing the Text

The tool will provide a perfect platform to use to audit your text. It comes with a search box where the Keywords Density Analysis checks the structure of your content according to SEO requirements. It looks at the content length and tag structure. If you consistently follow different tables’ recommendations it will increase the final rating and the quality of your content. You can do this by pasting the URL or the text you want audited in the box provided on the platform and click ‘verify text’. Depending on the vocabulary you may have used in the text, the tool will show you the level of acceptance. When you click on the non-included Expert vocabulary, it shows any other word which has been recommended and which you can use to refine your text and improve its quality.

The keyword density analysis sections checks the structure of your content whether it is formatted according to SEO requirements, the tag structure and the length of the content. It gives the status of the content on total keywords compared to the recommended index, the number of H1 tags used and the total number of key words. It also gives the number of key words contained in H2 tags compared to the recommended index, the number of keywords used in H3 tags and many more.
