Welcome to our review of Mail X and Mail X Pro. MailX is a new email marketing/autoresponder software released by Radu Hahaianu. It’s intended to be a substitute for the best free autoresponder. You’re effectively getting it free because instead of paying $37/month for 500 subscribers with most autoresponder mailing software, you can get MailX for $29.99 during the special period on now.

We’re going to take a look at the pros and cons with MailX in this MailX review. I was recently spending no less than 10 hours looking for the best autoresponder for our best email autoresponder thread here and for our own use so this is very familiar space for me.

The biggest issue with email autoresponder is finding one that has reliable delivery rates thankfully, MailX doesn’t have this problem because your emails are not being sent by the same server everyone is using. (meaning you don’t get punished for someone elses spam with MailX directly). With this said however, Mail X Pro is sorely lacking some sophicated templates and features that most full-service autoresponders have. It is still one of the best alternative if you’re looking for the best free autoresponder.

If you’re looking for the best free autoresponder, I gather you’re not too concern about the software bells and whistles but more so with the price and value which MailX in our review most certainly covers. There are several upsells so read bellow to learn more about what upsell you may have to get for you to make full use of it.

MailX review - What is MailX?
In our MailX review, we’re going to explore some of the pros and cons to MailX so you can see if MailX is suitable for you.

Pros:
- MailX and Mail X Pro allows you to send UNLIMITED emails (as far as technology limitation goes)
- MailX and Mail X Pro does not charge you base on the # of subscribers you have
- MailX is incredibly cheap; almost free as far as autoresponder goes
- Mail X Pro assures good delivery rates as you’re not using one common server all the email marketers are using. THIS IS CRITICLALY IMPORTANT

Cons:
- No unsubscribe button. A little primitive template designs. A lot of up-sells for basic features. Not a full solution of itself.

As you can see MailX is an excellent solution if you’re looking for cost-efficiency and want to skip monthly fees of traditional autoresponder that can be very expansive and temperamental. It does however have some features that would still to be added to make it a better mass mailing software.

The benefit however is you know you have a reliable autoresponder for next-to-nothing price with a RELIABLE delivery rate which is CRITICAL with finding free autoresponders. (Many free autoresponder are over-spammed and under-managed meaning your emails rarely gets delivered; it’s like sending a mail that you know won’t reach your recipient, you’re better off saving your time.

Who is Mail X Pro for?
Affiliate Marketers – If you’re an affiliate marketer looking to build your email list then MailX is a cost effective way to do so.

Email Marketers – If you want a back up solution should your current email system fail, then MailX is a good option for you because it’s a one time fee for unlimited access. It serves as a back up should you need it if your current email autoresponder is being temperamental with your lists or emails.

Best Free Autoresponder – If you’re looking for a free autoresponder then MailX may be a good cheap alternative. You get more features and reliability than a free autoresponder with the price-point of basically a fraction the autoresponder costs today. The benefit of a more reliable email delivery rate makes it worth while in itself! You don’t want to miss this significant value; because your emails are sent from your own choice of server, you will have better email delivery than some other free options.

Small Business Owner – I get it. Small Business owners know that marketing is important but yet you don’t want to spend more than you have to. Mail X Pro provides a suffice solution that’s VERY cost friendly. NO RECURRING FEES! Now that’s really important for some business owners who want to watch their budget. It allows you to try the waters and test the benefits of email marketing without any monthly commitments. Basically lets you test the water without the risk or wasting the commitment time remaining if you find it doesn’t work for you!

How does Mail X Pro work?
1) Upload your email list: Easily upload your email subscribers list to MailX cloud platform without any restrictions or double opt-in requirements. It’s simply importing it from your excel, .SQL database or text file.
2) Set your Email server: You have to set which email server or connection you want to use. You can use the web hosting you’re currently using or you could use a third party service (as cheap as $1 per 1000 emails).
3) Create your Campaign: you create your campaign as you might with any email autoresponder and craft your message. You can import an email template and spam check the email as well if you like to ensure your emails do not have too high a spam score.

It works here much like any autoresponder system except with a friendly and easy to use platform for Mail X Pro hosted on cloud. I wish they had an unsubscribe button however as most email marketing software have.

The key difference with MailX is that you are hosting your own email sending software. How MailX and MailX Pro work is providing a cloud platform for managing your list and creating your campaign; you get to use the back-end system for crafting your email templates

Basically, MailX allows you a cheap option to send subscribers emails and do email marketing. You have an economical solution that works much like any other autoresponder. If you’re looking for a basic autoresponder that gets the job done MailX review reveals that this is an excellent solution for those looking for the a reliable mass mailer software.

MailX review conclusion:
If you’re looking for an autoresponder that’s cheap and that gets the job done to send emails to your subscribers then in our review, MailX does the job extremely well. You may have slightly less bells and whistles but you have a reliable mass mailer software that actually works and that gets the message deliver. It’s also very cheap that it’s almost free in relative comparison to the typical cost of email autoresponder services.

Radu and Han Fan have done an excellent job with creating MailX. There are still some room for improvement but overall it is excellent!

I'd like to add my sauce to this review .. I have tried mailx for almost a month now and my experience is this:
- I set up sending through my own host first (actually two different hosts) as it was the easiest way.
I really got one mail delivered, but it was just an empty mail with an unsubscribe link in it ... the content I added just simply vanished somewhere during the editing process ...
I contacted support on this but never got a solution or even an attempt at a solution

- next I tried to set up mailgun and sparkpost. I did all the necessary steps and with mailgun I finally got to the stage to send an email through mailx to validate my account. Basically this means, you enter your email address, mailx sends a verification email through your mailgun account. You click the link in that email, affirming thus your settings are correct and the mail was sent and received.
I got the email with the verification link alright. When I clicked on it it sent me to a 404 error in mailx. I tried it several times over with the same result. I got no solution or attempt at solution to this problem from mailx support

- with sparkpost, I could at first fill in the necessary data in mailx, but upon my next attempt to open sparkpost for sending that verification email in mailx backend, I got a 500 Server type not allowed! error. The error still persists. I got no solution or attempt at any solution from mailx support

- ok, I went back to trying to send through my own hosts again, but now my emails do not get delivered anymore. Mailx gives an error: GIVE UP
Unlike the first mailing that went through, here I do not get any bounce email message from my host, showing that the error occurs before my host is even involved.
I again got neither a solution nor even an attempted solution from support.

In fact, the standard support answer is: This is not a mailx issue, contact your host.

I have asked for a refund and will update this post when I get an answer or solution to THAT

Hi,
I went to purchase Mailx and on checkout - whilst on one hand it says its a one off payment, the other side said it was a $97 USD monthly payment fee and definitely when I logged into my Paypal account, it wanted to set it up as a pre-approved monthly payment.

What's happening please???
