You can see the exact anchor text percentages that the site is using (anchor text is simply the hyperlinked text that other sites use to link to you).

The most important data is the % of branded keywords, URL keywords and other keywords the site is using. Basically, these are keywords that are completely different from your 'money' keyword. This helps you establish a more 'natural' anchor text profile, which is very important for SEO.

Yes there are upsells that include more data that the software brings back as well as a private membership for more SEO software (for backlinking). Everything mentioned in my review, however, is included in the frontend of the software.

Rank Recon, at the basic level, brings back the link density and anchor text profiles, as well as social signals. This data is very useful because you can mimic these same patterns in your link-building. If you want actual backlinks, a tool like Ahrefs is a better choice, although with monthly fees...

In my opinion, knowing the number of 'referring domains', 'IPs' and 'Edu/Gov' links is enough data for you to confidently start your SEO campaign with...and Rank Recon reports on this data.

Hi, Rank Recon at the basic version doesn't show velocity, but in general these days the recommendation is to build no more than 5-10 links per day for most domains...unless your domain is very aged and authoritative. Also, once a desired ranking has been achieved, you can slow down the link-building even more.
