Okay, if I have an existing bookstore of thousands of books

on Amazon currently...as well as a bookstore website...is it
possible to integrate my bookstore website with the books on Amazon

so that it consistently updates my inventory with sales, etc?

Thanks in advance

I think I understand what you want to do and I would say no.
Amazon will update your Amazon inventory and has no interest in your private website.
That's how it works for some other items so I would imagine same for books.
    Cheers

There is no 3rd party software that I can link to my amazon account

    Not aware of any.
Amazon keeps anything to do with or effecting their customers or the closed end of their business well under wraps.

  • It depends what platform you are using for your own book store. There are lots of way to integrate OpenCart and Magneto with Amazon. What sort of store are you using on your own site?

Currently the website is just more or less a placeholder so it's not used for sales currently...I would like to add something to integrate them so that books that I currently sell on Amazon (thousands of them) can also be linked to my site.

Something like this may do the trick, if I can list them all quickly on my site quickly...will have to see if its buggy or not have you had any experience with it?

    Any competitors?

Not going to say quick, but once it is set, it auto removes the ones that are soldout, and will move in the new ones in your categories. As far as buggy.. not really

It takes me about 30 minutes per 100 items to load them in initially. it only loads 100 at a time. so the start process is time consuming, but after that... easy easy

And yes I do use it.. Love it actually. When I looked there were a few "competitors" but not really. by far the best right there.
