So I've given my critique for multiple websites here so I thought if would be nice to get the same from other people on my website.

//Funny Code Comments | Funny Comments Seen in Source Code and Documentation
It's something I do for fun in my spare time as I noticed quite a few funny source code comments while working on open source projects.

It would be nice if you could comment on design and content and give me suggestions on how this site could be improved.

Would love if you could also share the site using Facebook/Twitter buttons.

    It's alright, somewhat boring / plain.

    Also slight issue on the bottom - https://www.dropbox.com/s/lwm9pe28mb...57.27.png?dl=0

    Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

    When you say it's a bit plain/boring, do you mean design or content?
    Yeah, noticed the issue with navigation on the bottom. Will try and fix it over the next couple of days.

    It's cool that you took the time to capture all of these. Some of the comments are pretty amusing. I think the appeal would be rather limited, most people aren't familiar with the pain of coding. If you got this out to the right crowd, it might develop a bit of a following. Is the point just to document these funny comments for yourself or, is the plan to use them to draw people to the site for something more?

    If the point is just to collect and share the comments the site works fine. The search is a nice touch. If you plan on doing marketing and, the humor is a draw for those you are trying to attract than, the site needs a good deal more development.

    The plan is to document these for myself but also see how well I can do attracting audience for this site.
    I do realize that it's a very specific niche but there are tons of developers out there that, I think, would really enjoy reading these comments.
    There are quite a few comments that can be found in open source projects (with links to original source code) that should make it even more attractive.

    By the way, I'm not planning to make any money from it.

      I being a coder found the page humorous.. but a bit flat somehow. The page didn't fit my screen, and your side bar seemed a bit wide and seemed to push things off to the right more. was almost like it was uncomfortable to read.

      Why not add a section on "Code Art" - the text art some place in their code:
      HTML Code:
      <pre>
      ###### #    #   ##   #    # #####  #      ######
      #       #  #   #  #  ##  ## #    # #      #
      #####    ##   #    # # ## # #    # #      #####
      #        ##   ###### #    # #####  #      #
      #       #  #  #    # #    # #      #      #
      ###### #    # #    # #    # #      ###### ######
      </pre>
      And the lack of navigation other than the side bar throws thing off a bit.

      *** an after thought. you could think about monetizing the site with ASCII Art? https://www.google.com/search?q=ASCI...w&ved=0CB0QsAQ

        I'm glad you found the page amusing

        Regarding design, I share your thoughts on the left hand navigation. I'll look into it in near future and try to make it a bit smaller.

        The lack of navigation is on purpose, there simply isn't anywhere to navigate to
        There are a bunch of categories and people can submit their own funny comments but that's all there is to it. The main purpose of the site is content (i.e. the funny code comments).

        What do you mean when you say that I could think about monetizing the site with ASCII Art? Do you mean sell ASCII Art?

    Actually I like your website. It is quite good. The design of the website completely matches with your niche. Your website is looking nice. Some people will find it boring as you named it funny but it is not really as funny. Otherwise your website is good.

    I would make the left column smaller, it's too large in my opinion, makes it cumbersome to actually read the Funny Code Comments.

    I personally like the site, maybe you could spice it up with some more color and a flashy logo or something, but overall I like it aside from the left column.

    Great concept for a site man, I wish you the best with it.

      Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely look into the left column. That seems to be something that a lot of people agree with.

    I'm noticing that some of the code is displayed inconsistently (like this comment IE10 in Windows | // Funny Code Comments ) where the first couple of lines are green and the rest are red. Does anyone know of a good Code Highlighting plugin for Wordpress?
