What theme is this please? Probably a custom design?

Nettuts+ | Web development tutorials, from beginner to advanced.

I want to change the theme of my wordpress blog to something similar to this and would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction to get something similar to this and about how much would it cost please?

    I build everything custom and from scratch so I don't pay a lot of attention to what is available.

    You could try looking at ThemeForest which is actually owned by the same network as the site you listed above.
