How the emails will look in 2014

Hi all,

I work as a web developer and I wonder how the emails will look in 2014,

would it use more media (graphics and videos) or would it be more like plain text to make it more personal?

what you do you think?

    There is always a downside to adding media to your email. They get blocked more and people have to click ok to allow the media to appear once received. I think more personal is always the way to go.

    I got many graphical email in my inbox daily and it is very convincing so I think graphical emails is better + small content
