Give me pointers on my personal site

Hello guys

Since I'm not sure where to post this, I have done so here. If not adequate, please move.

First of all, I have registered to this forum because I believe that I can get some great pointers.

I have registered my personal domain name to build a personal branding site with a portfolio on it (which is admittedly not very large at the moment).

Here: Web Development, Internet of Things and more | Vincent Wochnik

The portfolio primarily targets employees, it's not for freelancing / drawing in clients.

When I have the time and monetary resources, I will look to get a new photo done professionally which will replace the picture in the circle.

So, I hope for some feedback.

cheers
Vincent

Slick site... but try putting some more stuff 'above the fold'. It looks kinda bare right now.

You gotta 'suck me in' ... make me want to see what else is on the site. You may not be using it to draw in clients right now - but the sole purpose of any website is to get eyeballs looking.

I do like the navigation, although I'd shy away from a black background for the navigation bar... but that's just me.

Due to the sparseness of the site above the fold, that red ribbon sure draws my eye!

Just random thoughts, hope they help...

Why didn't you put some more content in your website. It is looking so much simple and really no one will want to give their time on it.
