Conversion Strategies?

4 replies
I've been at it for a little bit now and am still "gathering data" so to speak. What I mean is I'm not having any conversions really whatsoever.

Here's the deal... I've tried:
- BuzzCity => Mobpartner
- BuzzCity => Clickbank
- Adfonic => Peerfly

I've tried multiple games, countries and demographics. I have NO problems with CTR. I can get lots of people to click on the banners and check out the product.

My issue is how do I approach the issue of no conversions? My budget is low as well, could that just be it? Am I not spending enough $$ to have enough traffic to go through to get a real idea? So far I've spent $70+ and have had not a single conversion.

Any advice is extremely appreciated!

    Are you direct linking or using a landing page? How much traffic have you run and what is your CTR? Look up what typical conversion rates are for other affiliates, and see if you're really lagging.

    If you're not getting conversions, either the offer sucks, your traffic sucks, your demographic targeting sucks, or you aren't getting enough traffic to start seeing conversions.

      I've been doing mobile advertising with no landing page. The CTR is at about 0.4% which is probably complete crap but eh I'm working on it (the banner probably isn't working super well).

      I think that this advice is really what I needed to hear. It all pretty much sucks so I just need to tweak and look a lot closer to my target audience and the offer. It's not just about getting them to click on it, the offer needs to actually be good!

    Some things you need to consider:
    Have you tried rotating ads?
    Have you tried rotating offers?
    Have you tried landing pages?
    Are you tracking?
    How much of a sample size did you have before you stopped running the campaigns?

      I've tried rotating offers and landing pages. I don't have any prosper202 setup yet but am working on it. The sample size was about 400k (combining both adfonic and buzzcity).

      I'll keep working on it and keep those in mind. I think I'm just a little impatient and need to know it takes time . Thanks for the insight.
