Review My Teeth Whitening Site

I'm wondering what kind of traffic would work best for a review site for teeth whitening? PPV? PPC? Or just stick to SEO? I'm going to be doing some additional SEO work on the site, so I guess I'm asking if PPC and PPV traffic is worth trying for this niche and style of site.

My site is Teeth Whitening Gels | Teeth Whitening Products | Teeth Whitening Reviews if anyone has time to take alook.

Thanks

In my experience, teeth whitening offers convert well with PPV traffic.

    Nice site.

I don't promote teeth whitening offers, but know people who did very well in this vertical using PPC.

there is no way I would run that on the Big G, you would be slammed, the site only half works the read review buttons do not work, the links at the top redirect to alternate shopping sites the menu on the side / mid page / articles ? are lost at sea.

the site map link is a dud /

By using this website, you agree to our terms of use
? what terms of use / no link

Your trusted and independent product reviews of the popular teeth whitening products online
? what trust there is no about us page / you could be Mickey Mouse

as above this would never float on adwords / would not even go there with it. / a 2 bit ppc show may accept it

Yes, I also recommend 2nd tier search engines. Even with the errors you mentioned being fixed it still wouldn't be possible to go with AdWords, since the big G doesn't like free trials.

In order to promote teeth whitening offers and any other type of free trials on G it's necessary to go the opt-in / follow up route.

Hey looks great! I like the color scheme

Formatting is a bit off in my browser but you are probably working on that.

One thing I would split is putting the cost to consumer right on the review. Sometimes telling people that there is a cost (even if its $1) helps in the funnel. It actually did better on one of my teeth whitening lps which is why I bring it up.

I may also look into changing the button up. Try splitting a more prominent Call to action button and the review button isnt working for me

    Best, Ken

Thanks for all the input guys/gals. I know some of the buttons aren't working, but I just wanted to get an idea where to start with ppc or ppv. I am working on getting articles up as well as all the buttons functional before I launch into any paid advertising.

Kenster, are you talking a bout putting the price of the product on the home page or the review page or both?

Thanks again to everyone who has responded.

I was initially thinking the home page (as a test) but then again the review pages werent working when I visited.

Another good practice to do is look at other peoples review sites in the niche. Look at the more expensive keywords in good ad positions and see what those affiliates are doing, as that should help shave some of your testing expenses.

Create some articles on why your teeth turn yellow, foods/drinks which corrode teeth, and probably dental hygiene. This way google won't slap you very much, as you have quality content.

Very nice looking but the point is if it will convert or not. Only your own testing can tell. Have you thought about SEO?

Come to think of it, I have a teeth whitening site which I am not paying attention to anymore that would look real nice with your design. It ranks for a few keywords already. Getting a very modest 50 clicks or so per month. Let me know if you'd like another site in this niche. With some more SEO work it will definitely rank better.

Looks professional. I think if you can get that site ranked for some product keywords youll do an easy $600 per month without ever looking at the site.

Good site there, I cant make it myself. It's very good indeed.

I would definitely go for article and video marketing before heading to paid traffic like PPC and PPV.
SEO is my weakest skill, so i'm missing out there =(

SEO isnt rocket science. Just put your keywords in your content, header, and keep outbound links at a minimum, nofollowing all affiliate links. Then get links back to your pages with the words you're going for. Outsource more content with your earnings and keep it funneling.

How do I do the testing? Is there something that can automate it for me?

Or do I just do it one way for a certain number of clicks, then change it?

      Really nice site.

Did you make the header yourself or did you have someone else make it for you.

If so what software did you use?

Nice looking website man...just some things i noticed...

        1) On the home page, the review below each product, scratch the paragraph writing style and use bullet points...3-4 bullet points per product is usually what i see have the most luck. you already give the user an option to read the long review so on the home page i would stick to shorter copy.

        2) You can also get more specific with the ratings, instead of overall rating, break it down by "cost, customer service, effectiveness, shipping time, ETC...if i hit this page and i saw a more in depth breakdown of the review i would probably be more prone to make a purchase or atleast hit the offer page.

        Best of luck to you.

Clean site. I like it. Is this a pre-designed template or did you do this all on your own?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[2516406].message }}

Sometimes a Chart either below of above the ratings which shows what the price and features of each offer is helps. If you need clarification here, let me know and I will show you an example or more clearly explain

I like it all in all. Nice design.

I think you need a stronger call of action. You could have something like this at the bottom
"Not sure where to go from here? Proceed To *Idol White* Our Top Rated Product."

BTW, for anyone running this on PPV, what's a good way to tackle this, short and simple custom PPV lander, or maybe direct linking?

    Hey Ken,

I think I know what you mean, but can you give me an example please?

So what I'm gathering is this:

Replace the short paragraph with bullet points and a call to action.

Run this site on ppv for any paid option or ppc at places other than adwords.

One suggestion, maybe you should put different products on #2 and #3.

The three products you have presented all have the same cookie-cutter layout, so that might seem strange to some. You could pick products for #2 and #3 that have a different layout.

So I got the site up and live now with articles and reviews all working properly.

I'm running a ppc campaign via 7search.com and am getting some clicks on my affiliate links. So far got about 100 clicks between the top 2 offers, but no conversions.

I plan on letting this go though for a couple more hundred clicks to see if this is viable. Is this the right thing to do?

With teeth whitening offers, can you build a list via ppc on google by sending customers to your landing page where you only offer free tips in exchange for them signing up for your email list?

    Is this effective?

That's what I was talking about.

It can be done and currently is the only way I know to promote free trials on Google.

Obviously, you will need to make the numbers work (opt-in rate, open rate, conversion rate, etc), but it's definetely possible to use this strategy.

Like the other people mentioned, google won't like this for adwords, but you can still get traffic through ppc.

Nice clean site. The reviews didn't open for me though, you should check that out.
While we're on the subject, how should a free trial for teeth whitening convert? Some say 10% and that would be awesome, even for highly targeted traffic.
    What's your experience?
