Acai Comeback?

Anyone seeing a comeback for **** berry products?

My **** sites and sales died for like 2 months, now all of a sudden I'm getting sales again.

Just wondering if maybe I was google slapped and that was the reason for my sales decline or if there was a down turn in the **** market and now it is coming back.

    Use your tracking software (I hope to god you have it installed on your server) to figure out where the traffic is coming from and rinse/repeat whatever you did to get that traffic.

    I doubt they're coming back. Take a look at GTrends! Too much negative marketing against **** products. But there will always be alternatives It's an evergreen niche.

      I would not necessarily call it dead. If you're a good marketer, you will find a way to sell it and keep it converting.

      If they are selling it at the gas station how does that make it dead? That just tells me it's the opposite of dead, because it's in enough demand for health stores and gas stations to be selling it.

      Many people don't want to have to spend the money and time to buy the stuff from the gas station every day. Alot of people would rather buy a bottle or two over the Internet and have it delivered to their house!

        You are correct. If its still out there, then its not dead. People are still doing big numbers with ****. Put it this way...if there are stillacai offers on networks, then I can guarantee there are many people doing huge numbers with it. Its when offers leave the networks that indicates the offer is dieing...and even then there are probably still people doing great going direct with the merchant.


        **** is still selling and until another huge fad comes along, its not going anywhere.

    In the last 2 months there has been momentum gaining in this niche. We are seeing a comeback, new products, big epc's, new advertisers and old ones coming back. Low quality traffic converting at 3-4% and high quality into the high teens. The new advertisers are being a bit more cautious, initially setting low caps, making sure the offers are backing out for them, even prepaying some of the networks to make sure no one is getting burnt.

    It may never be as big as it was, but there is definitely people hitting it hard again.

    Yes wpiercy...i think the offer hasnt died significantly, its more the traffic sources that were hot have been increasingly more difficult to promote the offer along with merchants having to re-work offers to abide by FTC guidelines which has lwoered conversion a bit.

    I am getting good traffic to this niche, but not super great conversions. I am using a blog format for my sites now, can I change to a different format or will google not like me if I go from a blogging platform to a more traditional site. Still using WP of course. Basically, I would just make the home page static and still add content.

      I'm not convinced the **** market is dead - I have a couple of sites that I haven't touched for about 8 months and I notice in one of my CPA acounts some sales over the past two months.

      To my mind it doesn't matter what common sense or the news tells them, there are always people who are willing to buy into the dream and just input their credit card info!

        The problem is that its not just common sense because a lot of CPAers are doing very deceptive and shady stuff.

        Setting up a website designed like a news site and titled Channel4News.com and then having a cover story about the **** scam and then telling people Channel 4 News did a review and found a legit **** trial when in fact it is another shady rebill.

        Even common sense upon entering a site like this would make it seem legit. Its this deceptive crap that bothers me!

        Dont get me wrong, there are some good rebills out there, but this type of marketing practice urks me.

        Rant, my bad!

          100% agree with you there Kenster! I've never done Flogs or anything like them.

          You think with the crack down that marketers would be more careful about what they're putting out there - not to mention the moral element here.

          A few months ago with some offers, you had to agree to the TOS of some of the particular offers and some of them said a big fat NO to flogs. If you were caught using them to promote the offer you'd lose your $$$!

          But what I will say is that RFT are still, for me anyway, a legit way to make my money and while I can find offers that I believe I can promote within the two networks that I'm signed up to, I'll still promote them in a way that sits right with me and the networks.

              I think Maqui may blow out as well but know that **** isnt dead . Plenty of marketers are still doing big numbers. Maybe not the 20k a day like last year, but still nice money to be had!

              But it will inevitably fade out. Watching Oprah as we speak...she will probably determine the next product!

        This is sooo true Jenni Mac people don't even realize. This is exactly why "Make money at home processing rebates" or "filling out surveys" will ALWAYS sell even when people know it's pure B.S.

    I literally just had a family member (very smart guy) "fall" for one of the fake **** berry news sites.

    When emotions cloud logic, people do very stupid things. When you add a dose of deceptive marketing practice in their, smart people do really stubid things.

    We have a gang of offers in EWA and they're really moving quick again... if you can find good traffic sources for it (like PPV) and can react quickly to EPC drops and bumps then you can rein supreme.

    Not sure if its a comeback or people just listen to the wrong people but **** has been rocking hard since Nov 2008 and isnt going anywhere. Its just that those who were in it for a long time have cemented their place and its hard to break in to it now.

    However with that said there is a new Niche which will be blowing the **** niche away. Those networks pushing ringtones, **** or other old niches just dont know whats new and hot. Think Penny and ipads.

      Thats a great point. Back two years ago the offer was soo hot that you can literally monetize any and all traffic sources and web spaces and make crazy bank. Now that many traffic sources have strapped down and made the **** offers (and trial offers) tougher to promote, this has limited the numbers of places and ways to promote the offers. Demand has also diminished substantially compared to the height but is still very much there...mostly because nothing insanely huge has replaced it yet.

      Further as Mike points out, some of the bigger players have dominated certain traffic paths which has made it harder to break into.

      So I guess the conclusion is that **** is still selling, people are still making bank, but its much more difficult. Granted, no shocking conclusion there!


      I think marketers should be doing is building strategies or web properties NOW with the sole intent of monetizing in the future when the next **** or fad diet explodes. Set yourself up now so when the time comes, you can monetize the freak out of it just like people were doing with ****!
