I'd personally be rotating CPA offers instead of just going off cpm

Probably using CPA offers work better. If your forum is a niche related forum then you should definitely use CPA offers. Also, you can use tribal fusion which offers good service.

You can use AdSense for your premium traffic and Fidelity Media or AdBrite for your remnant traffic. It can help to increase your revenue.

Thanks everyone for your advise. Well Tribal Fusion, Casale, Valueclick etc have already rejected my site.

    It's an entertainment related site.

I ended up going with lijit for now.

I would like to try zedo also. If anyone is familiar with zedo please share your experience.

    Thanks again all.

I agree with some of the above posters and think you should try and monetize yourself in addition to seeking cpm partners. I know nothing about your forum or anything, but perhaps you can make a lot more by hosting your own offers or pushing cpa offers or something! Worth a shot

Check out affiliatepaying.com for a list of good networks. In general you will only want to work with the reputable ones. There are many fly by night networks that are pure scams, so work with the ones that have been around for years!

Yes, affiliatepaying.com is a great place to find good CPA networks.

And, btw, I also think you should give CPA a try before taking the CPM route. Displaying CPM ads would require less work, but I think CPA would be more profitable.

You can also use a blended approach. The nice thing about CPM is with its ease of implementation you start making money while you're doing testing with CPA campaigns.

If you're going to run a leaderboard for CPA why not have a skyscraper and medium square (depending on layout) to make a few bucks while you test/apply to different CPA campaigns.

We can all play nice you know.

The nice thing about working with Lijit is that we're partnered with variety of companies on the demand side of the display advertising landscape like burst and technorati (and quite a few others) so you dont have to manage those relationships individually.

You also get your metrics in a concise dashboard with actionable analytics all in one spot without any cost.

What are the average CPM rates for telecom website? I've applied but they stated my website doesn't respond, but clearly is working. I've stopped trying after two emails stating that.

    No model is "dead"

Some publishers could profit more from CPM, some can profit more from CPA.
It is important to mention that both of these models are a bit limiting, when deciding to set a price for traffic or conversions- the publisher limits the amount of money they can get.

From our experience, at the end of the day, a model that has no "pre-set" payout, such as CPA on REV-SHARE, can get higher profits for both the publisher and the network.

Well CPA doesn't perform very well on forum as people not used to complete offer! I would say go with CPM network which is best for you and I would advice to choose Tribal Fusion which is best in business!

Well I just learn from my own forum where I have better CTR but Conversion is limited to below 1%! Actually I do trail run for CPM network and I earn more better than MaxBounty CPA offer! Although I might be wrong because my site are general niche focusing young generation readers!
