Where does 7Search Traffic Actually Come From?

Can some please explain exactly where 7 search traffic comes from...and explain what it means to be 2nd tier network?

How do people actually search on 7search? etc....

I have used 7 search a lot in the last year but my profit margins are very slim....perhaps if I knew exactly who uses this network i could improve my conversions...

They get their traffic from tens of thousands of websites displaying the 'Search Box' on their site. When someone searches keywords they go to 7 Search index and ads are displayed. It has been known that some of the traffic could be from 'paid to surf' traffic from some of the owners of the websites, so 'junk traffic' results that does not convert.

From junk sources that are attempting to monetize their junk traffic. Expect lots of 0 second visits.

From what I understand, many 7search traffic sources are junk.
You can get access to block some sources though, if you want to take the time to do that.

I tried 7 search before, I found out that a lot come from park domains, junk traffic. It's very hard hard to make a profit on email submits.

I spent $50 with them and got 1 conversion for $19.50, not a good traffic source is my opinion!

I've actually had some decent conversions from 7search using their very cheap CF (click free) traffic. In fact, I've gotten a much higher percentage of trial signups and conversions from 7search than on some other higher priced networks. The fact that real people are signing up & buying proves that it's not totally junk traffic. Since the cost of traffic is so cheap, (only a few cents per click) the ROI can be very good.

7search shows the volume of traffic for any keywords you select. To keep my ROI high, I use CF keywords with the most traffic & keep my bids low (never more than 5 cents a click). This works best in niches which has high payouts ($80 - $100 per conversion) and lower competition.

yeah exactly, from the seach boxes on other junk websites out there. But you can get conversions with 7search.

The 2nd tier meaning, google yahoo msn bing, top tier, the rest are 2nd tier. So all the other search engines out there are rated second in terms of the bigger guys.

I've been trying out 7search. Thoughts so far...

    1. I've only spent $0.56 so far. Traffic levels are VERY low here compared to other sites.
    2. I think you'll need to block sites on subid, there's instructions around for how to do this. I think the easiest way to spot the junk sites is to look at time on site in Analytics.
    3. I got one conversion (I'm advertising my own site). The user spent 9 minutes on my site, so that's quality traffic in my eyes!
    4. I'm paying $0.02 a click which is seriously cheap!

So I'm happy to continue testing offers on this network. Trouble is, if I find something that works, then it's going to be hard to scale it up on this network alone.

OK I'm trying a new offer. This one's in a little bit more competitive niche (~$0.20 a click for the most popular kw's).

Unfortunately I've only had one click so far! The problem with this network is that search volume is just so low.

Used 7Search PPC for a very good Fat Loss product and got 180 clicks and 16 optins with a decent LP.
Spent for that results $50, so it's some $0.27 per click and $3+ per subscriber. No sales eventhough my large number of follow-up emails.
I stopped that campaign and don't think I'll use that network again.

Robert, did you block the bad performing websites with their sub id blocking?

Prosper202 free tracking allows you to block bad performing traffic. It also shows if the traffic is real or if the same ip has visited 5 times.

You should then be able to get 7search to give you a refund for the poor traffic. (clickfraud)

Thank you Comodo. I struggled for a while to download and set up Prosper 202 and then gave up (time-out). The all-in versions are not free $89/month so I rather prefer to keep the things with 7Search as they are now: frozen

Did you install prosper202 on a free or paid domain?

Regardless of what ppc company you use, you need to learn to install and use prosper202 tracking.

The hosted version is exactly the same as the free, you are just paying them to host it for you.

Here is a website that will tell you how to install and setup prosper202 with easy to follow videos.

            http://freereport.montanavida.com/sign-up/

It won't work if you try to install it on a free domain, it has to be a paid domain otherwise you get error messages.

7 search does have some volume on certain keywords, some keywords have over 500,000 searches.

I am refering to the non porn related keywords. I stay well clear of the porn industry.

Since our beginning back in 1998, 7Search has developed and continues to evolve our distribution network. It contains smaller tiered search engines, web portals, hosting companies, domain banks etc. We use our patented click fraud technology to monitor and validate the sources of traffic to ensure they are of a quality click fraud free source, that they originate from English speaking countries, exclude incentivized, mechanized and roboticized clicks. We also give advertisers the ability (when they have the option) to blick subids in their 7Search accounts. Shoot me an email if you'd like me to share this option with you. bstanley at 7search dot com. Let me know if you've got any other questions.

I noticed 7search doesn't have state geo targeting.

Can you please make state geo targeting a priority update.

      Thanks in advanced

Well it's not about luck, if you are selling something that someone wants to buy then they will happily buy it.

Out of curiosity what is it you were selling?

Given the fact that Adwords ad Adcenter are expensive and unfriendly to affiliate marketers, 7search is a best option for promoting your offers. They have traffic that offers value for money with the ability to identify and block sources of bad traffic. Once you do that you are left with a flow of great converting traffic.

1 traffic fom sites who are not approved by adsense.
    2 from parked domains
    3 from classified ads sites

They are not very targeted so they are less or minimum conversion.
