How are you tracking your PoF campaigns?

Hey guys,

Just wondered how you guys are tracking your PoF campaigns to see whats working and whats not?

I have p202 installed and have entered all the setup information such as payout, traffic source etc

The only part I'm unsure of is what to enter as the max CPC in p202 because PoF uses the CPM model. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I'll be using PoF's state and age dynamic tags and wondered should my p202 links look like this:

HTML Code:
http://www.mytracking202domain.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=xxx&t202kw={state:default}{gender:default}{age:default}adcopy1image1
or this

HTML Code:
http://www.mytracking202domain.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=xxx&c1={age:default}&c2={state:default}&t202kw=adcopy1image1
How are you tracking PoF campaigns?

I want p202 to collect as much data as possible

Thanks in advance guys

Alan

      Thanks for your reply mate,

What are you entering for max CPA in p202 to guage an accurate ROI as PoF uses the CPM model and theres nowhere in p202 to enter CPM info?

Also would you mind telling me which of the 2 tracking links above look correct?

      Thanks again

      Cheers

I'd say the second looks like it would track properly, I'd be worried the first wouldn't. But one thing to keep in mind, you are giving away lots of your campaign data in the links, so you might want to come up with aliases to help hide this..

CPC is going to fluctuate, no way to track that perfectly.

p202 does not give accurate cost data.

You would have to update every click manually to get accurate data per click.
