The first day is always the hardest. This is the day you sit down and look at the list of things you have to do and promptly get a headache. That's a LOT of stuff staring back at you - where should you start?
Hopefully this plan helps - breaking things down into easily digestible chunks. Today I want you to focus only on finding a topic and product you want to promote.
Start by deciding what niche you'd like to promote. Do you want a physical product or digital product from a site like Clickbank?
If you are already aware of an upcoming physical product launch, like a new phone or tablet that you think will sell well, you can start with this, but keep in mind that physical products tend to have lower up front returns and greater long term returns. I recommend a ClickBank product (something like High Traffic Academy) that you can leverage to build your next site quicker.
So, do your research, find the recommended vendors in your niche (tutorial here) and start signing up for their lists. Remember to create a dedicated email address for these list memberships.
Now, start looking for a new product. Check forums, check JV lists, and look for buzz that indicates something new and hot is about to come out. If you are in the gaming niche or something similar, check the release calendar. When a new game or expansion is released, guides usually launch 2-3 weeks before the game.
Once you select a product that you feel will do well on launch day, it is time to find a keyword friendly domain.
