    Hello!

Now is not the time to start trying to learn a bunch of
things you don't know anything about. Now is the time
to get busy doing something to generate income.

Start doing more of any side hustles you already know
how to do, that means ANYTHING! Think of ways that
you can get paid doing things for people who will pay
    you right away.

Over the next few months, as time permits, add some
passive income streams like selling digital downloads,
images, ebooks, print on demand products, etc., keep
working and building until you start to generate enough
income to replace whatever you lost at the tech job.

Remember that it costs money to go to work, so if you
will be working from home, you won't need as much
money as you did when you went to the office, if that
    is what you were doing.

I guess that means you are unemployed? And that also means you have little money so need a startup which preferably requires little capital expenditure?

About the only thing l know of that does that is run through your home and sell anything you can on Ebay or Amazon.

There is freelancing on Fiverr, (and other platforms) but that is easier said than done and probably takes years to make anything worthwhile.

My specialty is online stock market trading, which requires some money up front but can make substantial profits but obviously someone new trying this can blow up their account one or more times, (blow up means lose it all).

I know someone who started out with $100 a week ago and has turned that into about $800 so far, sure he has had a rough two months and lost a lot and has been doing this for years, but still.

Physically online trading is easy, (no digging ditches) but mentally,..it takes years to master.

Can it replace your income sure, is it easy and quick, (apart form beginners luck) not really.

I have been at it for more than 5 years and l believe that l may finally have a handle on it, so not quick. But it requires little capital, and it can be expanded as far as you want.

    Good luck.

PS Never ever put your money in a Crypto, wallet from a total stranger online who has approached you, vast majority are scammers.

    Hey,

its always a good idea to learn something new.
But also dont forget about those skills you already have. Maybe some of your interests and specialties are already very useful for other people out there.

Therefore think about how you could generate an income online with what you are already good at.

    Hey,

I am in the same boat. I also got laid off in April 2023 and trying to get a new job but so far no luck. I am looking for a way to make money online. I need some guidance.

    Best of luck.

Hi I have heard for years the tech people were laid off; I'm not too familiar with which area this is. I'm looking at retraining into programming, what areas should I avoid looking at?

Best time to do an honest ASSESSMENT. Start with your stretch. How long can you stay in survival mode, until you can no longer survive? Now you have a time frame.

During this time, can you supplement your income with any sort of DOING of a service; detailing cars, washing windows, door dash, or any number of things to do. If so, what can you DO?

What TECH have you been in, and have you been replaced and if so, by what or whom?

What DO YOU WANT TO DO? Given all and any choices, if you could do anything at all to make a living, what would that be? And after that, what is currently preventing you from doing it?

We have no idea of your situation, if you are single, your stretch can last longer as you cut back, cut down and stay in survival mode. Can we assume this is the case?

As for fast money, the very FASTEST is to sell stuff you already have, as has been suggested already to you...start with your TV and/or any games you might have.

But don't sell your stuff for a Happy Meal...if it is that DIRE, search for temporary employment, or the local Plasma center (as other Warriors have done to fund their online ventures).

But, BEGIN with ASSESSMENT. Now would be a good time to take as many as you can; personality, skills, aptitudes and attitudes. Do a search for free assessments, and spend a few hours finding out if any thing is triggered.

If you just dive into any online venture, without having prepared yourself for it, your chances of success are diminished, and you too will take YEARS as some of these other Warriors have done to get to their success level. You don't need years. Not if you start with a solid base of knowing what you want, and have a clear idea of how to get it.

That clear idea comes from taking time to see the big picture, and not make any knee jerk reactions. So, what is it you want? And Why?

I have a fb group with 2600 members but i dont have a lot of engagement in the group, how do i get a lift in engagement and members organically, and what would a good threshold be that would be worth the effort to try an monetize it?

That's a pretty good size group but it all depends on the topic, because
some things can be monetized and other things cannot.

If the group is about learning or knowing some pertinent information that
they would pay for, then you could sell them a course and you wouldn't
need that many of them to buy it to make a decent profit.

If I were you I would brainstorm with ChatGPT as it can help you develop
strategies, plus give you step-by-step instructions on just about anything.
