Why do my articles appear under the wrong title on the site menu?

Guys,


I have made some posts. I have put them in categories within wordpress. But for some reason they show up in other categories where I have not specified for them to be placed. While others seem to go where I want them.


Does anyone know why this is?

    There might be a couple of reasons why your WordPress posts might be showing up in the wrong categories. However, you already mentioned that some posts go into the correct category while others get lost. So the most common reason can be your caching.
    Clear your WordPress cache. Ensure you clear all the cache from WordPress plugins and then revisit your posts.
    Double-check category slugs to see whether they align with each other or not.

    Is clearing the site cache the same as deleting site cache? I see this on my wp site.


    How would you clear the cache on plug ins?


    As for the category slugs, do you recommend putting the exact same name of the category in the slug of the post? I have not done that for some.

      Hey Kay! Thank you! I went to WP Super Cache and clicked delete cache. But my pages are still showing up in the wrong categories. Like all of them are showing at once.
