Offline Marketers - The Missing Piece

What is your unique selling point?
This is a quick note for all offline marketers. I came across a lot of complaint of not being able to get enough leads and even if you've got them after so much effort, it is difficult to close them and sometimes it just ends up being a pain in the butt.
Having said that; the fact that you need to go through all these means you are doing something wrong from the beginning itself.
What types of leads are you targetting? And What are the offers you are giving them?
There are many reputable marketers out there that hyped up their explanations about how to get leads and how to convert them. There is no single way at succeeding in this aspect.
Take one segment of the industry that you feel more comfortable working with and you have some background knowledge about it. Let say; I've a relative in the dentistry industry; use this as leverage to get through the door.
Never ever underestimate yourself; the way you present yourself is what affect the rest of your relationship with your clients. Don't be a pushover or submissive one; but rather know what you are talking; and walk the talk also.
In lead generation; it is all about first impression; nail that and show the leads what you can do for them and you are almost half way there. Screw it up and you will be running out of potential leads very fast with no fruitful results.
Have prior knowledge about the business you are contacting; don't ever use mass emailing etc to sell your services.
All these are fundamental if you want to increase the closing rates as you are already pre-selling while educating them at the same time.
I don't know for you but frankly I prefer spending 30 minutes going through A-F and have a higher probability of closing them than just sending pre written scripts etc with no answer.
I hope this helps; if you have any question. Do not hesitate to buzz me at mfaaleh@gmail.com
