Hello Paul,
your views of the activities in "social networking" are definitely correct. The word "friend" in the context of social networking has a different meaning to normal life. There are other words that have taken on a new meaning like "social", "value", "success", "ethics" etc.
I am currently working out some posts with these topics in mind and I welcome the input you are giving me.
