What Picture are You Painting?
I so want to visit the stubborn passion that once enriched my childhood! I so want to visit the flight of simplicity that went on and on until I collided and colluded with the teenage mind!!

It’s Monday and the starting of a new week for your Home Based Business.
If you are using the Internet for marketing you have to be somewhat creative to have a fairly regular and repetitive schedule since there are numerous volatilities in conducting the business such as lightning storms, ISP issues, computer configuration (not to mention the odd crash here and there), webinar sessions which you can't schedule, time zone issues, email delivery issues, hacking problems (you really, really need a strong password for online stuff), and the list goes on for a good while. So the real challenge is to prioritize items in your schedule and structure in some flexibility as to what gets done when. Of course you really, really need to be dedicated and patient to see the results you are working for. Having a super excellent CMS like we have goes a long ways to resolve what otherwise would be practically intractable problems. Gudrun, keep up your courage and encouragement.Posted 29th September 2011 at 03:51 AM by Merrill Sloan

Thanks for the comments. I think most of the people who are in a home based business, thinking that they have a business, but they don't treat it as a business.Posted 27th September 2011 at 07:09 AM by gudrunsmith

These are an excellent questions to ask myself daily Gruden. I do work on schedule and move forward on improving my skills. Although some of the other questions I really did not think of I will use this list thanks for the insight.Posted 26th September 2011 at 02:42 PM by Allen R Seagers

Gudrun, you are so right about sticking to a schedule. No one will ever be successful in a Home Based Business unless they do a LOT of work, and the best way to do that is to stick to a schedule. Of course a reliable company is also a necessity. Keep the great suggestions coming, the reminders are always welcome!!Posted 26th September 2011 at 01:31 PM by NancyAnderson

Gudrun, Another great post. I found when I first became self employed I would say things like well in my real job. This is as real as any job you will ever have only with loads of FREEDOM. The successful people I have come across do just what you are suggesting. They have a routine and they stick to it. They add changes when it will increase their income or business.
Thanks again for a wonderful post.Posted 26th September 2011 at 11:34 AM by debbiechamilton

The Law of Increase, by Gudrun Marquardt
Gudrun, Thanks for your post. You are an inspiration. Truer words were never spoken. As always, it is such a simple equation, however our humaness gets in the way. Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find, Knock and the door will be opened.
