I'll try to get some referrals for you. But try the social forum first.Posted 26th December 2012 at 07:36 PM by wrcato2

HELP.....Social media novices in search of a strategy...
Thanks a lot for your feedback. Yes $2k a month hurts but I may come back to you anyway if this is what I need to get things off to a good and correct start. Im keen to do it once and do it right as I can imagine there is as much to lose by doing it wrong, as there is to gain by doing it right....Posted 26th December 2012 at 07:33 PM by walted

Here is a link to the warrior forum social media page. Copy and past your blog post into the discussion forum. Use the same title as the title for the forum post. there are many there that can help you find a social media manager and even give you some strategies to work with.
Social Media Marketing Forum
The only social media manager that I am acquainted with would probably charge you 2K a month to operate your campaign.Posted 26th December 2012 at 07:28 PM by wrcato2

HELP.....Social media novices in search of a strategy...
I tried finding someone on Freelancer.com to assist first with strategy, and then with execution, but all I got in response was people offering to generate fast 'Likes' for a Facebook page that doesnt exist yet. Most dissappointing response. I have a freelancer working on my normal website SEO as we speak but the social media campaign was out of his depth (by his own assessment), and he actually referred me to this forumPosted 26th December 2012 at 07:18 PM by walted

No clue. But you can probably find one here at the warrior for hire or you can try elance dot com. I think it will be your best bet.
Then go to the copywriters forum and find a copy writer in your country. They are there just watch their sig files and get a consult from one of them.
Save your money. Don't do any contest until you know what you are doing and have a game plan. marketing is measurable, any thing else is just public relations.
Nike ads are public relation ads. If you continue to do what you are doing you will go broke and have no customers.Posted 26th December 2012 at 07:14 PM by wrcato2

Thanks for the response wrcato2. Yes you are right, we dont have a campaign as such as we really dont know what we are doing. We do want to ensure that we are successful so we want to ensure that we have a solid plan, and then execute it in the most efficient way to get results. We are offering a very generous prize delibberately to kick start this new business model. Do you know a good campaign manager we could talk with?Posted 26th December 2012 at 07:03 PM by walted

It sounds like you don't even have a campaign. Social media is a great way to brand yourself locally, face book allows you to have a business page. from there you need to do a search on face book and find your local market.
There really is no way to measure your campaign this way unless some refers a person that orally or in writing tells the reefers name.
Your best bet is to hire a social media manager to handle the social media campaign. Then hire a copy writer and marketing consultant to write a sales letter or post cards that you mail out to potential buyers. This will be a measurable approach.Posted 26th December 2012 at 06:57 PM by wrcato2
