It happens every day: a big company and a law firm send notices to a website, probably owned by an individual, asserting copyright, trademark, or some other intellectual property violation.

The only problem is that the notice is false. And the firm and the attorney know it.

They are simply trying to bully someone into removing something they find objectionable.

I got the domain ChristmasToys-2009.com which I was a little surprised was still available in October. I'm going to focus on the key words Hot Christmas Toys 2009 for promotion of the home page and then the top 15 toys by name for the inner pages.

I've got squidoo pages and blogger blogs set up for each toy as well. Again I was surprised they're available.

Right now I'm waiting on the articles I'm having ghostwritten.
