New site is ready

Posted 11th April 2013 at 02:38 PM by DeePower

Brian's Golf Blog is our latest site. Since blogs are so popular and Brian loves to write about golf, we thought we'd combine the two. After two or three weeks we'll put up some amazon affiliate links.

Adding a blog to a static site

Posted 13th March 2013 at 09:05 AM by DeePower

I have both static sites and blogs. An "expert" told me that blog posts get indexed more quickly than new html pages. I think I have to agree. As an experiment I posted a new page on one of my sites and it took several days to get indexed. I started a new blog fast weight loss tips to an existing site that I haven't updated in months. We'll see how fast it gets indexed as opposed to a new page on the same site.

Can you sell a house on the Internet?

Posted 30th August 2012 at 02:02 PM by DeePower

Well we'll see. I've used the Internet for lots of things but never to sell a home. I snagged the domain homes for sale in Fountain Hills and threw up a bare bones site. I then linked it from two other sites. It's already indexed because someone else had the domain and didn't renew it.

Finding Funding

Posted 12th July 2012 at 02:49 PM by DeePower

One of the most difficult aspects of starting a business is finding the funds to get it going. Venture capitalists fund a very small portion of the companies that contact them. If you qualify, you can raise millions of dollars. Of course you have to give up a good chunk of ownership for that investment. How to pitch to venture capitalists.
