Blogging seems to be all the rage these days, but is it really necessary? Can you get traffic to your website some other way? Sure you can — but it will cost you a lot more than your time.

Let’s start with talking about all the great reasons I can come up with, to support my notion that you need a blog:

It’s a great way to keep your current customers engaged. It’s the perfect place to mention new releases, sales, personal stories, testimonials, etc. It’s a free...

I think there is something to be said for making one thing work before moving onto another thing. When it comes to marketing you should do your best to promote on a single platform and get the kind of attention you deserve before moving to another. It's OK to quit if you feel that it is a total waste of time and money, but at least make sure to work on one thing at a time and not try to make 10 different platforms work for you simultaneously.
