Residual Income Source

Posted 16th February 2010 at 01:33 PM by AnneE
Updated 16th February 2010 at 01:37 PM by AnneE (wanted to add keywords about residual income sources)

I first thought about sources of residual income when listening to the audiobook version of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Kyoski talks about how there are 4 kinds of income – having a job, self-employed (where you own your own job), investment income and owning a business. I always thought that owning a business WAS the same as being self-employed. But I learned that the difference is when you own a business, you can walk away from it for a substantial period of time and still earn income from it. This...

Highs and Lows of Internet Marketing

Posted 18th July 2009 at 12:34 PM by AnneE

Well I've had some pretty severe mood swings this last week and I don't mean the kind caused by female hormones. I mean what happens when you have a few sales quickly and then one of your websites ends up on page 1 and you think, Dang... I finally am getting the hang of this. That's an internet marketing high.

The low comes when about a week later, after applying a WSO technique that you felt sure would bring you big bucks, you are sitting debating whether to ask for a refund or...

A New Blog

Posted 6th July 2009 at 06:05 PM by AnneE

Okay, I finally got around to starting my blog on advertising ideas. While I'm using a lot of public domain material as a starting point for blog entries, I'm adding my own thoughts as well. I'm hoping this will add value both for the reader and the search engine.

6 posts done today. I'd like to schedule 1 post per day for 2 months and then drop the pace down.

Time to go make dinner. Bye!

My First WSO - Continued

Posted 24th May 2009 at 11:51 PM by AnneE

So... I promised to write this 'tomorrow' about 3 weeks ago. I just 'bumped' my WSO and so I'll write it now, because it is a similar feeling.

I don't know how it is for other people, but when I FINALLY make something available for sale, that has taken me weeks or months to put together, it feels a bit like the bottom has dropped out, as I wait for sales....

Wait...and wait... no matter how short the time is between when I post something and when I get a sale, it...

My First WSO -- The Background

Posted 3rd May 2009 at 06:07 AM by AnneE

Here is why I created the WSO offer that I did.

I'm a children's book writer who opted to self-publish, because letters from editors saying, "You have talent, but this story doesn't meet our needs" just wasn't cutting it. I carefully researched self-publishing children's books and then took the plunge and published Poster Girl.

A couple things held me back from selling more books:

1) Lack of time
2) Not being a natural in sales — okay,...
