Bad news on the horizon for affiliates?

Posted 25th July 2009 at 01:01 PM by bjm16

I recently read where Google is on the warpath against affiliate revue sites. From what I heard in an interview I gather Google doesn't much care for the whole affiliate model. I wouldn't be surprised to see them dump that whole area of internet marketing. Apparantly that's the source of most of their complaints.
Don't know if this is allowed but you can hear the interview at: http://www.netfrontiermarketing.com/?p=183.
Like the old saying, 'forewarned is forearmed.'

Videos

Posted 22nd June 2009 at 11:42 PM by bjm16

This is probably way too basic for anyone on this forum as it's so basic. I wrote an eBook on how to make you video stand out. It's really an ePamphlet for those who have never made a video or are intimidated by the process. It's available for download on my blog, informationassociates.info. It's free, natch, and I'm curious if anyone downloads it, what their thoughts are on it.
I travel a lot so I won't get a chance to blog much or even visit as often as I'd like.
Thank.

New Calif. internet law

Posted 20th June 2009 at 04:49 PM by bjm16

There's a new law the legislature is to vote on, possibly as early as Tuesday, regarding internet retail tax. From what I gather from frantic e-mails from CJ, it could have an extreme negative effect on internet marketing. Anyone know anything about this? I notice NY is exempted from a lot of affiliate vendors so I wonder if this is the death knell of affiliate marketing in CA. Similar bills are up for vote in HI, N. Car. Conn., Maryland &Minn.
