I am hearing so many online marketers talk about post cards. Post cards, Post cards, Post cards. Oh, my god, if I hear another person say, "post cards."

I want some feedback. pretty please.

Do you think post cards are the way to go for offline marketing?

Simple fact from my years of experience.

Tear sheets rock, post cards suck.

What is a tear sheet?

A tear sheet is a full page newspaper ad. You can then use it to mail in a number 10 envelope or you can use it as a full page ad.

If you want to use it as a newspaper ad, you need to buy the ads perfectly. You need to buy remnant space.

When you mail a tear sheet, you use a post-it note inside the envelope.

Here is my point:
Post cards are for people who don't want to take the effort or don't know how to do a real direct mail piece.

Post cards fill mail boxes because anyone can do it.

Gary Halbert "A" pile "B" pile is still the way it is.
People stand over their garbage and toss away anything that looks like junk.

You can do a tear sheet for not much more than a post card and the response rate will crush a post card every single time.

A tear sheet will beat hands down the metrics of any online campaign every time. Does this interest you or does this sound stupid to you?
Do I sound like an offline nutcase to you or does this get your greed glands swelling with anxious anticipation? Or something like that....lol.

I have learned over the years to always try and think different than others.

In marketing, that couldn't be more important.

give me your thoughts. I will answer any question you have about tear sheets. I want brag about how many I have mailed, but ask me and I will tell you. Not trying to sell anything. Just curious what you think?

Peace out.
