Relaunching? Worth it?

I've got a software program that I created about 3 years ago. I've only done some minor updates, and I know there are some features I could add to make it better, and there's a couple bugs that really need to be fixed.

I've been thinking about making those changes, and relaunching the software, and this time, selling it through clickbank.

I never acquired any affiliates for the program, and though I have made a decent return on my investment of time, I don't think I've completely tapped the potential market.

The question is, would it be worth spending the time to revamp the software, and the money to launch on clickbank? And would people buy it for $37 (or $47) with the update what they currently (1 or 2x a month) spend $29 on? Would the "army" of affiliates I could acquire make it worthwhile?

I think in some ways it's too bad I got the idea for this software so early in my IM dabblings, as if it was a new thing now, I could have promoted it so much better!

From about Feb '06 to the end of December '08, I've sold about 200 copies, which any decent IM marketer with a big list could crush, I admit But I did little to no marketing of my own (never even did a WSO!!)

So, I'm jumping from one side to the other on whether it would be worth doing or not. Right now, I only sell 1-2 copies a month, which basically covers my hosting/domain/delivery costs, and a pizza or two

If putting it up on Clickbank meant getting a couple IM people marketing it, and making 50-100 sales in the next 2 months, it would make a siginificant difference to my bottom line.

Hmm... I may have talked myself into it already
