Tis The Season To Be Savvy!

As 2008 draws to a close, I reflect on what my goals are for 2009. I can't really look on 2008's goals and see how I did, because I didn't set IM-related goals for myself.

In 2009 I will:

1. Rewrite and repackage a software tool I wrote, and make it available on clickbank.

2. Put 1 product a week on clickbank, so that at the end of 2009, I have 52 info products online, for sale and making me money.

3. Have met the following interim goals...

My first 5 products have been chosen, and I'm in the process of reworking the PLR ebooks. They're good content, but the formatting drives me nuts (I'm a former report developer, so I'm a bit anal about the layout, etc.)

While I'm doing that, new graphics are being created for 2 of the products, and as soon they're done, I'll be ready to put up the sales pages. For the moment, I'm using the sales page that came with the products, but I plan to set up with Website Optimizer to test...

I've just never liked the idea of submitting articles to ezinearticles. While I'm certainly building backlinks to the site I'm linking to in the articles, I'm also providing them free content that they then monetize to benefit themselves.

Don't get me wrong, they've every right to do that. It's just always been an aspect of article marketing I didn't like.

It could be partly because I've never felt like I got results from those articles, other than the backlinks....
