Digital product is one of the most popular products selling online. And Clickbank is the No1. resource for digital product. At the time of writing, there is a total of $1,663,404,854 has been paid out to the affiliate marketers! This is a huge amount of money being made online in affiliate marketing. Why is digital products so popular online? It is because anyone can make money selling or promoting other people’s products.


There are many digital (information) products under different categories being offered in Clickbank. If you are a newbie selling online, I would suggest you not to promote any product that has anything to do with ‘make money online’ or ‘how to lose weight’. So there are 2 thoughts here. Shall we promote something of high gravity as there are many people already promoting it? Or shall I promote something of low gravity because it may not be an easy promote to sell?

The answer is Yes and No. Don’t swear at me when I give you this answer It really down to the capacity of every individual. If I have a very good network and have a very huge list (opt in emails in case you don’t know what I mean here), I can basically promote any product I want. But for newbies, they may promote the high gravity products online via PPC or paid advertising.However, they may end up losing money because there are probably tons of other people out there are promoting the same thing with the same means. So it is important to check if there are people promoting the same product via PPC on Google. You may find 3 or 4 people promoting the same thing under the same search phrase of keywords in Google. So you better stay clear of this product.

To find something that is suitable for anyone to promote, I normally would recommend to go for products with gravity range from 30 to 80. This is what I call being moderate

When I want to promote a product, I want to find out how much profit am I getting. I don’t want to spend hours promoting 1 product but only get paid $10 commission each. This is far too low and it does not give me any ‘kick’ at all. I normally would go for something that can award me no less than $20. So why spending the same amount of time promoting a less profitable product when you can make a lot more?

If you are using paid advertising, then the profit is even more important. You may end up losing money if you are spending $100 on Google ads to make $50 in commission!

Some products will give you recurring commission or rebill commission. Some products may charge the buyers monthly fee. Therefore you will be paid for the recurring fee. It is shown as Avg Rebill Total. This kind of product is always my favourite too. You get paid continuously for 1 time effort. In this example, you will be paid $86.69 Rebill commission.

A professional design landing page will sell easier. It gives confidence to anyone looking at the landing page. On top of that, the copy writing must be well written and convincing.
