Are you just getting started in the Internet Marketing field?

For those you just getting started in the Internet Marketing field, there are a few stages you experience that I am going to discuss with you. Now, this won't apply to every single Internet Marketer, however it WILL apply to most beginners.

Is your inbox filled with the next Special Offer (product)?

By all means, don't get yourself tied up in clicking on the links in all of those emails because most likely the person has a great sales page that converts well and you probably will buy whatever it is they are selling. I know I did if it looked promising. However I learned quickly that all the video sales pages preached about the same thing but in different ways. They said they had the next push button software that you could buy and you'll be making XX amount of dollars by tonight. If the sales pitch is too good to be true, most likely it is. I was very gullible and naive when fist starting so yes, I bought a boat load of products that included software, eBooks and PLR etc.. and to tell you the truth, most of it was garbage so if you end of opening one of those emails, scroll all the way down and click on "unsubscribe."

Your email is filled with special offers to the latest product?

The first thing that I recognized that I was doing wrong was spending too much time going through my 7 different email addresses that I made for myself. Why did I have 7 emails you ask. Because every time I created a new email address my intentions were to use it for business only such as JV partners, products I am launching etc... It took me many times to do this until I finally of got it down to a science. Currently, I have one business email, one for any information that deals with Domain Names (because I flip domains on the side) and one junk email that I use for when I optin to someones list. I check the junk email once a week or so.
What is it that you are looking to gain from working online?

First things first. Clean your work area. I know it sounds simple to know but it really helps and frees up your mind a little. You may want to meditate or whatever it is that you do to relax yourself. You want to think to yourself, what is it that I actually want out of making money online. Is it freedom? Travel? pay all of your bills off? etc... etc... Figure out what drove you to even start putting together a business online. Once you figured that out. Oh, and it can be one or several goals. Whatever those goals are, you want to start surrounding yourself with them. Lets say for instance your goal is to travel to every Island there is. Well, go to Google.com and click on images, type the name of one of the islands and boom, you have a picture of one of your goals. This may not make sense to you at first. At least it didn't for me. I thought I had enough motivation to do my work anyway. Low and behold, I started surrounding myself with the new home I wanted to buy and just like that - whenever I didn't feel like working, I'd look at one of the pictures I took of my dream house and it does really help.
