I know a little bit about a lot of things, and that's what this blog will be about. A little of this and a little of that.

I have a new blog and want to start monetizing what I like to do, not just what I think will sell. the blog is Dee's Delicious Dinners Every day I'll post what we're having for dinner.
The monetizing comes from AdSense, amazon affiliate sales and whatever else I can think of.
I registered the domain last week but had some trouble actually setting it up on my server. The trouble was I had the wrong nameservers. Yesterday I could access it through the cpanel of my web host account.
Wordpress was installed using the fantastico thingie - a thingie is a technical IM term kinda like a widget. That was the easy part. It took me the better part of a day just to figure out how to post, set up categories, put Adsense up.
People say wordpress is oh so easy, but it's not if you don't have a clue. For example I had no idea that to add Adsense you went to the widgets and added a text box and then added your Adsense code in the text box.
I know there are plugins, but you have to know where to plug in a plugin to use it.
