Getting to know Chris Endres - marketing mask removed

I have always payed close attention to feelings. It's a thing I picked up as a kid, survival stuff.
I am crossing a threashold in my carreer as an Internet Marketer and I can see it literally and I can also feel it. Really well.
There are 3 main things that make me know This is really the turning point into real success online. I offer this observation because I hope it can assist you if it applies.
That segway's nicely into my first transformational point. I was told and I believed that success was based on finding ways to benefit others. By finding needs and producing value offerings for those needs, success would grow.
Association is the next key in transformational development in marketing. At least it has been from my experience. I have always believed in the rull of finding somebody successful and modeling yourself off of the formula you find there.
I chose Willie Crawford as my model almost 2 years ago. I told myself I would meet the man one day. Know what happened? In my slow but determined pursuit of Willie I met this guy David Preston.
In my world there are no accidents. That does not however mean that I always understand every turn of events. Some are just too obvious for me to keep track of and meeting David and becoming friends happens to be one of them.
Mentors are a key part of "growing up" as a marketer online. There is just so much awesome success information that flows from these guys who are successful that it just makes no sense not to get involved with one.
To have a friend, become one. I saw that David could use the services of a webmaster when we met and I offered myself to his cause openly. He didn't know me from Adam at first but I placed a value offering in his lap and it was a seed for a great friendship.
This is the secret technique you want to pursue in choosing your mentor. Become a friend
The last thing I want to touch on is self discipline. I have dreamed of making millions online and I know for certain this year I will be a millionaire. I was told I have a special trait that anyone can develop, which is the penchant to take massive action.
I was a spinner. I admit it. I was the guy chasing the latest greatest money making "thing" and I got into cash gifting and matrix's. I was looking for the easy money. There is nothing wrong with this because it is all part of the learning curve.
The truth is that those programs will never really make you a living online. I scraped by making a little here and a little there and gave myself the excuse that I was really accomplishing something when I was just wasting time.
If there was something I could say to you here that made up for all the incorrect actions I have taken it would be this.
If you want to succeed online you must make your own products. It's that simple and when you face it and challenge yourself to flow through your own resistance to accomplishing this you will taste your first true success as an Internet Marketing professional.
A good friend Michael Perry said something I cannot ever forget. "You must own content" was what his wisdom boiled down to. He pointed to any rock star or Acting professional, explaining that the rights they had to the content they produced was what made them the big bucks.
This is so obvious it can escape the sense of importance. When you are promoting someone elses products as a method of self sustenance, you are only getting a small part of each transaction and that is not enough. If you are honest you will admit to the truth of this like I had to.
In summary, the 3 most important things you can do to generate true long lasting success online are these. Seek to benefit others. Find a mentor and work to become a friend. Take massive action in creating your own products.
That's what I have done, and this year I will make the most money I have ever made.
Wishing you the best

Hi Chris,
I couldn't agree with you more:
Seek to benefit others - Give in order to receive - the Law of the Universe & attraction
Find a mentor - Someone to hold you accountable for your goals and to push you forward when the going gets tough.
Take massive action for creating your own products - Delivering your own personal content which is fresh and original will garner more traffic and success rather then using others.
Great stuff.

Chris,
Cheers! I've been summarily disinterested in affiliate marketing from get go because of the lack of control. I've always created my own products. I wondered if it would appear as an ego trip, but I try to cook steak and not 'sell sizzle.' My market may be smaller, but I keep control of everything.Posted 24th March 2009 at 11:32 AM by Corwinnx
