Seminar's Sell Out: Host your Own
Posted 22nd April 2009 at 01:51 PM by LMC
Have you ever though about hosting your own seminar?
It's easier then you think.
For example, I'm hosting a seminar in the local business area on how to grab more web presence with your website.
I sold 96/150 seats at a $115 price tag.
The seminar will be in July, so I have time to sell out. However, getting sales have been so easy, and explaining to them how to do basic SEO, linking, PPC, etc, etc, will be worth the cost for the attendees.
Keep in mind, have a backend product to pitch, a monthly membership to aid in marketing my help.
Usually see around 30-40% conversion rates from a seminar croud.
Does any of this give you guys any ideas?

Excellent!
I think you should package this up into a product -
how you got the sales,
the exact information you're going to tell them
what to do for the backend pitch
Please PM me if you do!
Also, how did you arrive at the price of $115? And how long do you expect the seminar to last (hours)?
Thanks,

Peggy,
Thanks for the comment. Actually, the $115 came to through budgeting an expense of $8 per person for lunch. Then $10 per person for the room space.
I personally wanted to make $97 for each attendee.
The seminar is four hours long with a lunch break in between, and questions as the last hour.
I would package it up, but I don't have the time, make a set of questions and interview me, and you can sell the product lolPosted 22nd April 2009 at 05:51 PM by LMC
