Increase Website Traffic FREE - How To Get More Traffic

If you are trying to get website traffic, you need to be aware that there are a lot of scammers online trying to sell you fake hits.
The truth is, getting website traffic takes time and you are better off building it yourself. If you have seen a site promoting the facts that they can send you hundreds and thousands of visitors over the course of a week, then be very careful.
Often these sites are based on pop up or pop under techniques where people get paid to click. This type of traffic is not going to convert for you.
The important point is, you need targeted traffic. Paid To Click traffic is highly UNTARGETED. Be careful who you sign up with and don't waste your hard earned cash.
If you really do need some instant targeted traffic then there are other reputable programs around like Adwords. Yes, they can be quite expensive so I prefer to generate my own traffic, and I am pleased to say it is not hard to do.
A great way to get more traffic is to add more content. You could also join Yahoo Answers and answer other people's questions with a refferal back to your site. Further to this, you could join a forum in your niche.
