I just wanted to say before anything else that this blog will have no links to any products and not try to sell anything on here. No email addresses will be needed either! This is a genuine guide and will remain that way! So enjoy!

Attraction (or INBOUND) Marketing is one of the newest forms of marketing and is by far the most successful. However, it takes time. The opposite to this is outbound marketing. So lets discuss the differences.

With Outbound or Interruption Marketing, you are trying to Interrupt your potential customers day and trying to convince them to look at your product. You are the one chasing the potential customer and you go to them. These involve adverts placed Online and also cold-calling. Most of the time the customer is either irritated and annoyed by this or completely ignores it. It is for this reason that conversions are VERY low as it takes a lot of numbers to find just that ONE person who is interested. Of course, what is the advantage of this form? It is quick! You can have the adverts up usually within 24 hours and in front of potential customers very quickly.

This guide is more about my preferred form of advertising and that is attraction marketing.

One of the main mindsets to have to become a success is that of "Sales by Service". We aren't trying to "get" the customers money primarily, we should be trying to provide value to people who need it. This is the primary basis for attraction marketing where you give a potential customer what they are looking for. You provide a service to someone who is looking for that service. By marketing using this approach, you have far more success!

So, how is this done?

Step 1.) Make a note on exactly what value you can offer to people.

Step 2.) Really think about your potential customers, create a full profile of the people you are giving value to with your product or service. Write down what it is they are truly looking for, why it is important for them and how you can show you can offer them a lot of value.

Step 3.) Create free teaser content that provides a partial answer for them. Using this content, build a relationship with them.

Step 4.) Show you are a trustworthy figure who knows a lot about the area you are giving value in.

Step 5.) Satisfy the potential customer's "Needs" with the teaser content (for FREE) but offer to satisfy their WANTS for a price. Getting email addresses via this step is always useful. However, remember do NOT try to sell anything to them but instead offer INCREDIBLE value and build a relationship with them for free!

Step 6.) Educate them on the paid option you have to help them. Do not try to sell it but instead educate them on its usage and how it offers value to them then give them a way to buy. Follow up 3 times with this then move back to building and maintaining a relationship for a while. Repeat as required.

The attraction marketing technique aims to offer value to those who need it, then provide the answers they are looking for. It attracts buyers who are looking for you instead of you trying to convince others who aren't interested to come to you! Instead of interrupting someone's day, you instead aim to place content Online in the form of teasers that show you are an expert in this area. This develops interest and trust from your prospect. You satisfy the prospects needs for free with this teaser content, however you offer a desired "want" to be satisfied via a paid option. This paid option is not sold to the customer, but your goal is to educate them on what it is you are offering and how they can purchase it. Show them the value and a way, then wait for them to make a decision.
