Well, it's been quite a while since I posted here. I've had mixed success with my foray into promoting oil field supplies. While I've had quite a few leads, getting long term customers has proved quite a challenge.
Luckily, I've started promoting a new line of high pressure drilling fluids that really seems to be getting the attention of the industry check their chemicals out over here. However, I am finding SEO to be incredibly more complicated as the years pass. Also, with the oil industry, I am finding a lack of good resources to be able to promote the site on. This makes me think there might be room for more authority sites in that industry, however, you must have a working knowledge on the intricacies of what you are writing about and not all the information is readily available online. In fact, it is quite easy to tell when someone is bsing their way through an explanation.
I can see that I will likely have to create my own site, which can hopefully become an authority site in the fullness of time.
What I can see is that the fact their drilling fluids best the competition by around 1500 PSI really gets the eye brows of drilling fluids engineers raise, it's just going to be a big, uphill climb to get a high enough ranking in the serps to get those searching eyes on our products.
