I guess I can use this blog as a diary of my progress. Maybe one day I can compile all of the info from this blog and sell it! hehe

Anyway, so far I've dedicated a few days to the customization of my blog. I downloaded a cool theme called flexibility 2 - which I would recommend to everyone. The free version has so much cool stuff, you'll be tempted to buy the full version. And believe me, I'm tempted. Too bad my wallet only open for essentials, my husband says. Food and electricity are necessities, I guess...

Anyway, I digress.

I think a good professional design is key to success, even if you use a free service. Some people (like myself) are webpage snobs, and won't really look at your site if it looks bad. Well, I'll look, but I may not come back.

I choose Flexibility because its nice, clean and professional. It doesn't waste any screen real estate ever.
  • There is space in the header and footer for ads, opt in code, links, etc. I used my header for social links and my footer for free ebook downloads.
  • There's a 2 big spaces to the right for content. I would rather up an opt in there, than in the header. But, I've seen people do it and get away with it. I'm going to use mine for a picture of me and some quick 'about me' stuff. Below that will be the obligatory optin.
  • There is a built in customizer is awesome, too. There's a punch of built in backgrounds, colors, etc.
There's so much more, but I don't feel like typing anymore. I should totally promote this on my regular blog.
